Do your pets follow you around - everywhere???
mckayleesmom wrote: Gunner and Lucy are becoming my shadows. Every morning when I wake up they follow me to wake up Mckaylee for school...sometimes they jump on her to help me out. Then they follow me back into the room to my bathroom to turn the shower on for her. After Mckaylee is done showering they follow me to the living room to get her dressed and wait by the door as I put her on the bus. They then sit and watch me mess with the computer for a couple minutes and if Russell is still asleep I usually go lay back down and of course they follow. Gunner always sighs a huge sigh of relief like I have been inconveniencing him by staying up so long..
They just follow me everywhere. Lucy is usually trying to race me..only I'm not trying to beat her..she just thinks I am. Today when they both followed me to the bathroom I realized they are getting out of hand..
I'm finding it obnoxious...yet somewhat flattering...
TheOaf66 replied: yes
unfortunately so do my children...can't even escape to the bathroom
lisar replied: Mine follow me everywhere and it drives me insane.
MoonMama replied: My doggie sometimes, my one cat ALLLLLLLL the time its a running joke that he's me B***H.
luvbug00 replied: our new cat is like my barnicle. she follows me everywhere. I don't mind it so much because she passes onto whoever has food. she is a dog in discuise..
mom21kid2dogs replied: Bailey and Dudley did but Parker, not so much. He's such an old soul. He's happy to lay upstairs on the bed all day
CantWait replied: My old dog use to follow us, only when we went to the kitchen
jcc64 replied: My pit bull does, but my lab, who is a real old lady now, is too lazy. I love having my dogs by my feet. They keep me company, but they never ask me to do anything for them and they can't back talk me.
AlexsPajamaMama replied: My cats follow us to bed at night and lay at the foot of the bed
Hillbilly Housewife replied: My dog's an outdoor dog. When she's allowed inside, she knows to stay put. She follows me upstairs if I go up for one of the kids whining.. other than that, she stays, or she knows she goes right back out.
A&A'smommy replied: my old dog use to and now my best friends dogs follow me around
DVFlyer replied: As long as I'm their food provider, they'll follow me anywhere.
boojagirl replied: I walk everywhere and they don't do it now but when my cats were younger if I didn't put them in the house they would follow me the 5 blocks to the store and back.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Our dog, Tank, has always followed me around from room to room - it drove me absolutely crazy when I was cleaning and I couldn't turn around without stepping on him. Here at my parents' house he's outside so of course whenever anyone goes out he follows them. My cats would follow me too, but not as devotedly as Tank. Cats are lazy.
my2monkeyboys replied: Charlie (the dog) does - everywhere. Broccoli (the cat) will, too, if there isn't someone else in the room with him. He just doesn't like to be alone very much. It's kind of flattering, but a bit irritating, too, when they get in the way.
Boo&BugsMom replied: Our Lucy is the same way. Then, whenever I am trying to wrestle with one of the kids, she thinks she has to get involved. She follows me around ALL day, no matter where I go. If I lock her out of the bathroom she scratches at the door, along with our younger black cat. I don't know what it is. It wouldn't be so bad if they weren't literally under my dang feet all the time. I think I step on all of them accidentally every day.
Baby Boy Names replied: That was funny!!
I wish my dog will also do the same thing..

luvmykids replied: Stevie does, and it drives me NUTS, I constantly trip over him. Bogie used to but he's not a house dog anymore which is good because he is just to big to fit in the bathroom with me Outside, they all do, and Bogie jumps in the truck anytime the door is open long enough.
msoulz replied: LOL, I have no pets and when I read the topic to this I wondered if you meant "kids" instead of pets!!!
lovemy2 replied: Everywhere all the time and I love it - but she is a German Shepherd so its her job
punkeemunkee'smom replied: Bella is always right next to me or laying on my feet or lap If she figures out that I am moving too much for her comfort she will transfer her attention to Tay or Bill
