C&K*s Mommie replied: It tends to get slower during the warmer months. Because like Dee Dee (Mommy to Ashley) parents take off, or go out and enjoy the weather.

I myself am looking at waterparks in nearby, getting ideas on what to do in this icky- hot weather we are coming into now that summer is approaching. Too hot to play outside today, so we plan to take advantage of it and get in the water.

TheOaf66 replied: unfortunately I am stuck at work and it is slow so this is the only thing I can find to bide my time a little bit. I need to post and get my count up

Kaitlin'smom replied: I am at work but BUSY got to much to do and cant keep my mind on it. As we are going away this weekend, sure its only to MIL but she lives out in the boonies so it like a nice get away, or at least I hope. COME ON 4pm!

b&bsmom replied: We just have a couple of picnics close by. We are doing nothing today which I am sure dh will say what are we doing tonight because he hates to sit home on a friday, and as it is pouring rain outside we are stuck in so I am catching up on the board.

TheOaf66 replied: I am not a fan of just sitting around at home either during the summer time. My wife is more of a homebody so she likes to just lounge around and relax which I cannot blame her because she runs the daycare out of our house and has to deal with 3-4 yr olds all day.

My DH is the SAME way!! Friday is the start of the weekend for him. He sleeps for a few hours in the morning and then bugs to get out of the house because all week is isnt really "part of the world" as he puts it!!

b&bsmom replied: Funny I do daycare at my home too. I don't like to sit at home I rather go out but that usually means you need to spend money and we don't have any to spend KWIM If we had somewhere we could go I would love to go out. I don't like being home either since I am here all day anyway!!

TheOaf66 replied: yes she is prone to spending money but a lot of it is buying stuff for the kids. She is just so wiped out that she really doesn't have the energy to do much unless we are goin out to eat or something.

CantWait replied: Friday's and weekends are usually a little slower. I've found a lot though so it seems pretty busy for a Friday to me.
