Does anyone elses MIL

Brias3 replied: Ummm....YES. Usually though, she'll just call DH on his cell to tell HIM that she can't get ahold of me so he therefore worries and calls me right away.

The best part of it is that I specifically tell her to reach me on my cell as I'm in and out all day everyday but she refuses to do this. She'll call the house phone, leave messages and then call everyone in God's great creation, all while I'm simply at the grocery store or something.

Kaitlin'smom replied: no, but I bet thats pretty annoying. We dont get to see MIL as often as we would like.

3xsthefun replied: Not mine. But the inlaws have to talk to Rob at least once a day sometimes it is 2-3 times a day. I guess I find it a little strange because I can talk to my parents once a week sometimes go longer then that and be fine. Don't get me wrong I like keeping in touch with my parents, but my gosh our parents only live 5-15 minutes from us it is not like we live far from them or something.

stella6979 replied: Yep! My MIL is a nice lady, she's just very strange. She could be in another state and if there's an accident, she'll call all of her kids to make sure they're ok.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Not my MIL...that's more like my own mom! My MIL is so into herself, that she doesn't call us on a regular basis at all. I talked to her last week and it had been maybe a month or so. I think she forgets she has grandkids at times.

Mommy2BAK replied: how about this to make some of the rest of you feel fortunate... when we're supposed to be meeting the in-laws for dinner or a movie or something they will start calling our phones FRANTICALLY about 30 minutes before we're supposed to be there and when we finally get a chance to answer or call back (b/c we're usually busy getting ready so we let the voicemail get it) they are like "Oh hey!!! What are yall doing? We were just wondering if you guys were going to make it in time?" WTH?!?!?! We're grown people here!!!
