Does morning sickness mean its a girl? - Does morning sickness mean its a girl

tnmom2+1 wrote: [SIZE=7]Does anyone know if morning sickness usually means you are having a girl? I think I heard that once and I've had two boys with no m/s. I just found out I am pregnant with my third. Anyone out there that had m/s with a boy? No morning sickness with a girl? Just curious....

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I had horrible m/s with both a boy and girl.

With dd i lost 35 lbs, and ds 40 lbs. luckily I was able to gain it all back later smile.gif

mummy2girls replied: with my son i had no m/s...if i did it lasted 2 weeks if anything.

With my daughter i had severe m/s for 5 months....

moped replied: NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I had morning sickness for 9 months straight with Jack - and he was a boy!

MomToMany replied: Haven't had a bit of morning sickness through 5 pregnancies. I think it's one of those old-wives tales.

coasterqueen replied: I just had a bit of nausea when I was pg with Kylie but I had yucky yucky ms with this one and she's a girl too.

But I know many people who've had boys and had m/s.

GavinsMommy replied: I had m/s bad for about three months and Gavin sure is a little boy!!! wub.gif

mitchzgirl replied: Every old wives tale that I have heard pointing towards girl has happened to me(morning sickness, fast HR, etc.) but the u/s shows boy! I had m/s for 15 weeks that was horrible. I guess we'll see if it really is a boy or a girl in a couple weeks!!

Queen-of-the-Testosterone-Castle replied: I have 2 boys, 18 mo. apart.... With Blaine (the oldest) I was NEVER sick; I ate everything in sight & never got nauseated (oh, except 1 time with spaghetti! LOL).... 10 mo. later, I conceived Blake and OMG!!! I was sick morning, noon, nite, for the entire pg.!! Sorry, hon... I'm afraid there is nothing to that tale... As I learned with them, ALL pregnancies are totally different, there is no reliable method of predicting! rolling_smile.gif

jolene555 replied: with georgia i really didn't have m/s, just felt crappy for the first 3 months.

loveydad replied: NOooo LoL!

I have yet to become pregnant (who can guess why)

but, my ex-wife was pregnant with a boy first, had severe m/s for the first 3 months. She then had another boy 7 years later and had very limited m/s. Then she had a girl, and had no m/s course she was only pregnant for 6 months or so -same wtih the next baby girl who was only in utero for 6 months.

My wife had really bad m/s but only for the first 3 months.

Nicky's mom had none.

My ex fiance had twins and had NO m/s watsover and had a boy and a girl .

So you see what I'm saying. I don't know about Tracy's mom.

A&A'smommy replied: no I don't think it means anything I had NO morning sickness ever and I had a girl and then I new several people who had it so bad they were in the hospital and they had girls

tnmom2+1 replied: Thank you for all the replies. I am now convinced there is nothing to it! Thanks again.

Robertosmama replied: thats a bunch of bs, I had m/s with my son, Horrible m/s. My friend had m/s with both her daughters.

baby-2005 replied: hi,

i am not exactly sure but i do have 3 boys and had NO morning sickness and i am 16weeks pregnant and i had morning sickness at the beginning but don't know if it's a BOY or GIRL yet,my ultrasound is on April 19th so i guess we'll see.

dueoctober3rd05 replied: I think Im havin a girl and I was quite nauseus before 12 weeks like I was sick about 4 times and jus felt sick as well but now I have more of a full feelin and cant think of anything off-puting or I will gag and it will cause me to vomit ,taking my Pregnacare is hard afta a meal coz I feel full and coz its so big it makes me sick sometimes wacko.gif

PanthersGirl replied: The wise tale is you are sicker with a boy.

redchief replied: I think uncontrollable anxiety and fear in the male counterpart in the relationship is the best indicator that a little girl is on the way. biggrin.gif
