Don't forget to vote!!!
MyBrownEyedBoy wrote: Democrat, Republican, Independent. Doesn't matter, just be sure to get out there and be heard.
gr33n3y3z replied: yes I will and not looking forward to it they all
PrairieMom replied: I've got my cheat sheet all ready to go, as soon as I drop The Boy off at preschool I am off to have my voice heard! I wish I could feel like it would matter in any way.
gr33n3y3z replied: exactly
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Well, if you don't vote, you can't complain. So if you aren't heard with your vote, you can at least complain about politicians.
PrairieMom replied: Don't get me wrong, I am proud that I have the right to vote, and I gladly do my duty, but I have democratic tendancys in a very republican state. I don't think anyone I have ever voted for has ever gotten in.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Tara, I too lean Democrat in a Red state. However, I will keep trying to turn Idaho purple.
amynicole21 replied: Done
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Call me ignorant... I don't watch the news really, so what are you voting?
Are you guys voting for Presidential elections?
No offense to you guys... but I hope that Bush doesn't get re-elected.
amynicole21 replied: Nope, just local elections now (governor, mayor, judges, etc.)
PrairieMom replied: no, not presidential. We have 2 whole years left to go. We have a lot of measures to our state constitution here. In SD we are voting on an abortion bill, gay marriage, a tax on cigarettes, video lottery... there is a ton of stuff. I don't remember a ballot being this long before.
PrairieMom replied: its so frustrating. I'm with you tho. My one vote counts more than if I hadn't voted at all... so I go.
coasterqueen replied: Done. Although when I woke up I felt like it was a funeral day. If our dirty Governor gets voted in again I think I'm going to move to Missouri where I definitely know it's a Republican state.
Everyone should be on the lookout for him. His #1 goal is to run for President, the only reason why he ran for Governor and is doing what he's doing, to get recognition nationally. His biggest contributor is California already.
holley79 replied: I went and did the whole early voting thing. So I spoke up early this year. I can't get back to my county I live in to vote when I have to work.
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: I so agree with you Karen!!!
I will be voting after work and so will DH.
coasterqueen replied: I thought you were Dem? You don't have to answer that. I'm glad someone agrees with me. That man is dangerous! He will be even more dangerous if he ever gets the presidency. Haven't we had enough crap with our past governors?
C&K*s Mommie replied: done.
Boo&BugsMom replied: I thought for a minute I was alone. I am republican and proud of it! I can't vote until tonight though after my kids are all gone. The only thing I am really worried about is the gay marriage and want to make sure I vote for that one. I don't want the ban lifted.
Kaitlin'smom replied: done I left the house at 7:05a and was back at 7:20 am
I did my reasearch last night and took my cheat sheet, cant remember all the people.
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Actually I am independant!!
coasterqueen replied: Ahhhh, I see. I can probably guess how you voted then.
