Dumb computer question

eta: I also tried right clicking, and clicking properties, I'm not seeing anything to let me put it back.

lovemy2 replied: Don't feel bad - my WHOLE menu bar is gone - and since there is no VIEW drop down anymore I have no idea how to get it back - but was too embarrased to ask although I shouldn't be - I am a confirmed, admitted computer/electronic retard

That one I think you can fix by right clicking in your general windows area, then go to properties, it should ask if you want it hidden or showing. But don't take my word for it

put your mouse on the bottom of the screen. once it looks like the letter I right click and pull up. sometime that works. let me know if it doesnt. my dh works on computers for fun and i can ask him.

press "alt" and "v" (for view) and a menu should come up. Go to "tool bar" and change it back

BTW if V isn't the right "letter" I do "F" (for file) b/c I know that works and then hit my right arrow key and arrow to it. I'd try it now, but I'm no my home computer (MAC) so it doesn't work for me
