ER tonight... - NOT for me

Anyway, they kept her in the hospital and are going to do ultrasounds in the morning--they said it's definitely her gallbladder. I know it would be very serous if they were to rupture, but I'm almost scared for them to do the surgery really soon--like tomorrow. I wanna spend more time with her I'm pretty upset, but trying not to be, especially right now. If you pray, please pray for her...and for me, as I am the only family she can depend on. I appreciate it.

Danalana replied: I don't know if the laser is an option...it's the anesthesia that is so dangerous for her, though. Unless she could stay awake during the laser surgery, none of it is a good option.

Cece00 replied: They have a lap surgery for gallbladder removal, is she getting that? Its MUCH less invasive and much safer. If they arent suggesting that one, she needs to tell them she wants it. Its 4 tiny cuts in the stomach. I had my gallbladder removed about 4.5 yrs ago.

I am sure the dr already knows what your mom can and cant handle, but isnt there a procedure out there that shakes them into tiny pieces? or am i thinking of kidney stones..?

That's kidney stones. I've had that done too. Gallbladder surgery was much better.
