Ebay

Our Lil' Family wrote: Anyone else get really into the auctions that you bid in? I'm sitting here ready to pounce because an auction I'm bidding in is ending in 15 minutes and I'm going to bid in the last couple minutes, I REFUSE to lose these adorable designer jeans for my child....isn't that sad. I'm obsessed over some 3-6 month jeans! wacko.gif

MyLuvBugs replied: No. I'm selling a ton of stuff and I'm sitting here watching it like a hawk, waiting to jump up and down when it sells. lol It's completely addictive!!! laugh.gif

Our Lil' Family replied: Yay!!!!!!! I won them! Dh always laughs at me when I say that....I didn't win anything, I have to pay for them! wink.gif

mommy~bella replied: hehe its because of ebay i have to say im glad i dont have a credit card! (i have pay pal, but i wont use it for that) anyways, sometimes tho, i really wish i did have a credit card, such cute and nice (and cheap!) stuff on there!

MyLuvBugs replied: LOL. You're funny! laugh.gif Tell him you technically did beat others out for them, so you did win that competition. smile.gif

Our Lil' Family replied:
You hit the nail on the head...that's why I love Ebay...I'm super competitive!

mckayleesmom replied: I was looking for a food scale, but the shipping is more then the scales

six_kids_at_28 replied: laugh.gif I only buy the things that are "buy it now" rolling_smile.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: I am comletely addicted to ebay & so is my DH- he collects sports cards! Matter of fact her rec'd more (5) envelopes with cards in them today! Like most people I give myself a limit to the absolute max I wish to spend, I plug it in, & if I see that my max bid is not winning- I keep plugging away! I just want to outbid the last person, just for kicks- and if I want it badly enough I will keep at it. I get mad at myself though when I continually go over my max bid limit. But I cannot stop until I am the winner (if only for the moment!)

my2monkeyboys replied: Yep, I'm an eBay addict too! there should be a support group for us! My DH bids on things sometimes too. As a matter of fact, last night he bought a Blind Guardian cd (they're a heavy metal band from Germany I think).
I sell some on there too, which is just as fun to me.

amymom replied:
I bought one at walmart for $5.00. And it works great

Hillbilly Housewife replied: You do know that you can put the max amount you,re willing to pay, and E-bay will automatically adjust it for you if you're outbid?

Example:

Item cost: 2$
your minimum bid owuld be 2.05%, right?

Well, say you're willing to pay up to 10$ for it - you put 10$ as your bid.

That way, it will go up to 2.05$. If someone bids over you, like say 3$, then automatically, your bid goes to 3.05$, and it goes that way until it reaches your 10$ bid, if the other bidder chooses to continue bidding...

Saves some time! wink.gif

Our Lil' Family replied: Yep, but I'm always afraid of being outbid at the last minute, plus I usually end up changing my mind on my maximum bid! Bad I know!

KingMom replied: I love it! Just sold my 44th item today! Only about 20 items to mail tomorrow! It'll be while before I list that many at once!

mckayleesmom replied:
what exactly do you sell??

MomToMany replied: I love eBay too!! I've only sold a few items (mostly too-small cloth diapers), but if I'm bidding on something you better watch out laugh.gif !!

toady_buckshot_noodle replied: I buy and sell a whole lot on there. I sell my kids clothes and use the money to buy more and turn around and sell them again if they are still in great shape. i have like a 377 feedback, and still love it! thumb.gif

I need to go through and sell Christmas sets right now. It's just so hard to find the time to get things listed.

kimberley replied: wavey.gif former ebay addict here blush.gif. almost all of Jade's first year wardrobe came off ebay and boy did i watch those auctions like a hawk.. putting in last bid in the final 3 seconds lol.

~KARA~ replied:

Me too unless there is something that I REALLY want!

C&K*s Mommie replied: i just wish that everyone (sellers that is) would be more consistent when shipping. Sometimes sellers do not ship things until 7-10 days AFTER payment is rec'd! mad.gif That is what is usually states on the item description, so it is ok, but I kinda want that one thing at theat great price...soon! tongue.gif
