Emotional day

He just about lived with us one Summer. I'll never forget when I first met him. I thought he was too weird and that I could never like him. Then, one day, I realized I did like him. He grew on me. He liked to write like me and shared some of his poetry with me. One morning, he put on the Smurfs while my DH was sleeping and I heard the theme song and ran into our living room to watch it with him. We were laughing like a bunch of little kids and DH heard us, so he came out to see what we were doing, shook his head in disbelief and then went back to sleep. He was a wonderful follower of Christ as well. We miss you, Andy!

Halo42101 replied: Thanks for the hugs. They sure do help. I wanted to share a picture of Andy but it's big, so I'll need to resize it.
C&K*s Mommie replied: He must be smiling down on you now.

Halo42101 replied: Awww, thanks, Nic. That was very sweet of you. Of course, DH has been handling it differently than me. I swear I did all the crying for the both of us. He said he has peace and comfort knowing Andy's in Heaven with God now.
C&K*s Mommie replied: Indeed, men are simply wired differently than women when it comes to feelings. Which can be a good thing, since you, as his wife, recognize that he is still mourning in his own way.
gr33n3y3z replied: I would love to see a pic of Andy
luvmykids replied: What a terrible loss. There is comfort in knowing he is with the Lord but it doesn't mean we don't still grieve and miss them.
Halo42101 replied: Thanks for such sweet and kind words everyone. They really do mean a lot. I'll try to get a picture of Andy going as soon as I can. To you all.
