Errrg! Leaking diapers.
MoonMama wrote: Ok now that Brae is FINALLY starting to sleep through the night more....his diaper leaks EVERY SINGLE night! HELP! What do I do or use? It never fails, in the morning his PJ's, sheets, blankets, etc are all wet. He isn't getting anything to drink when he's falling asleep or during the night obviously or anything. It getting REALLY old REALLY quick!
stella6979 replied: Hmmmm....maybe he's ready for a bigger size? When Avery could still fit in 3's she started to leak through them terribly so we switched her to 4's and haven't had any problems. Just a thought.
lovemy2 replied: Buy Diaper Doublers - they are kinda like maxi pads for babies I have to use them on Dylan too cause he leaks all over - I have tried bigger diapers, smaller diapers, diapers that fit - the doublers help but not everytime - the only other thing I found that does help to is to point his little thingy down when I put the diaper on
MoonMama replied: I have never heard of these where do you get them?
As far as a bigger size the 3's are still somewhat big on him, but 2's are way too small of course.
PrairieMom replied: I say go to the bigger size, at least just for night time. In the end with Ben i used actual maxipads across the top of his diaper and it worked great.
Mommy2Isabella replied: We had that problem with Bella, and it was just the BRAND of diaper we used ... maybe try a different brand ...
MoonMama replied: I wish it was that easy but BTDT.
lovemy2 replied: I get the doublers at my grocery store but they also have them at Babies R Us or look online....they are like $4 for 30 of them....
Calimama replied: I would give him a bigger size at night, I've been there many times.
MoonMama replied: Thanks ladies I'll give your ideas a try and see what works.
amynicole21 replied: We have used the doublers also. They were super cheap from the grocery store.
Jackie012007 replied: I'm there with Carly too - I think it's because she's onwhole milk now and also drinks a lot of water and juice - I've resorted to changing brands (we used to use the cheapies but no we use Luvs, they are better) and I change her before I go to bed - she's down at 8pm, I go to bed about midnight - I just change her while she's half awake. That has worked so far!
msoulz replied: Huggies makes an overnight diaper that works wonders. I get them at Target. They work great!
Kentuckychick replied: No fun!
I know K. uses the Huggies overnights with E. and if he leaks at all anymore, which is rare it's just out of the rim near his bellybutton. The kid pees a river everynight and hardly at all during the day. I would swear he's saving it up!
bawoodsmall replied: Aiden had this prob and odly enough my sis told me to go to a cheaper brand like Walmart at night and it worked. I am not sure why it would but it is heavier than the luvs. Just a thought. I havent heard of any doubler things.
My2Beauties replied: Aubrey has this problem when she sleeps on her belly and I haven't found a solution either. I've never heard of diaper doublers myself...thanks guys. But I will say this, when she sleeps on her back she never leaks (I guess there is more cushion in the back of the diaper or something, I don't know) and I use Pamper's Baby Dry. They enver leaked on Hanna, she always slept on her back.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I would try a bigger size diaper as well. Never heard of the doublers. My boys don't really have this problem, but it has happened once or twice. Wesley wears a 4, and although they are a bit big on him, I think it gives more room up top to catch the extra pee, kwim? GL
Boo&BugsMom replied: We have this issue with Aiden. We had to go get some nighttime diapers for him at night. They hold A LOT of pee!! We normally buy Luvs diapers, which never leak during the day, but at night we have to get the nighttime Huggies for him.
