Feeling down today

He's been so grumpy and negative and mopey for the last few weeks and saying that he shouldn't have taken the office job because we can't afford the pay cut - and it's really starting to get me down too. That and the worry that maybe he's right and we can't afford it. Especially now that gas is so high... we were talking a couple days ago and Scott said that all we can afford is for him to drive to work every day and for us to drive to town on Sundays for church and that's it. So that means that I will be stuck at home all week with just me and the baby and we can't go see our friends at all except one day a week after church. I never wanted to move so far away and now I really wish we would have stayed in our apartment or at least tried a little harder to find a house a little closer!

Andrew is crying and fussy today too - he's probably picking up on my mood.

I just realized how selfish I sounded complaining about being stuck in my house all the time when there are hundreds of thousands of people who don't even have houses anymore after last sunday. I'm sorry for complaining.

You can always go for a walk, or carryon a conversation with yourself, but then people might say your crazy!

Actually having Andrew here helps - before I was stuck here totally by myself and that was a lot worse. But it would be nice to be able to see my friends more and have more than a dog and a baby to talk to.

mom21kid2dogs replied: I quit watching the news on Tuesday night. It helped my mood dramatically. I guess I'm operating in the "Ignorance is bliss" category!!

5littleladies replied: (((Hugs))) Sara-Sara. Jas says we should plan a day or two a week that I come out and pick you up. We don't want you to be stuck out there all the time.

Well that would be really nice ~ gas is so expensive though I don't want you to feel like you have to be my personal taxi! It would be nice though... we should plan to have you guys out here for dinner sometimes too - that way at least you'd be getting something out of it!

Well you know it would be as much for me as for you. I'm going to go crazy with 4 little girls in the house if you don't come visit me so driving out to get you is no problem.
