First Day Of Kindergarten!!!

I got her up at a little after 8 (school starts a 9:25) and she ran to her clothes got dressed, requested I brush her hair (THAT has never happened before ) and preoceeded to ask every 3 minutes until 9:10 if it was time to go yet. I think I'll let her sleep in tomorrow morning!!

mom21kid2dogs replied: Momma was fine with it, actually. I have grave reservations about the state of the US educational system at the moment (government intervention issues, not aimed at teachers ) and I had a pretty poor elementary school experience myself but I'm a good actress when it comes to those things, at least in front of O. My SIL & niece came over at 10:30am and "kidnapped" me to go shopping with them!

Olivia came running out the door after school every bit as excited as when she went in! She had a great day. When I looked in her homework folder I noticed all the homework was for mommy, not Olivia. When I said this to her she said"Mommy gets to do all my homework~SWEET!!" I almost fell off the couch laughing! I told her I doubted it would stay that way for long.

Thank you all for your comments. I read them to O after school and she said "I don't know any of these people but the sure are nice!" I couldn't agree with her more!!
