First OB appointment tomorrow!

If all goes as planned, I'm going to take Ashton to my MIL's house, and leave them stocked up with a couple bottles of pumped milk...hopefully he'll cooperate, it would be nice to be able to go to the appt. without having to deal with possible meltdown on his behalf. And after my appointment, my friend Kelly invited me to lunch with her (she's 12 weeks along herself, and we're good friends)...so hopefully I won't get a call from Elaine (my MIL), telling me that Ashton's having a meltdown...he should be ok, I think if I fill him up first, make sure to nurse him right before I leave, and leave some milk with them, he's been taking the bottle fine, and from just about anyone, and he's gone to sleep for Elaine 2 times before when she's put him down for a nap, so I'm not too worried. And thankfully, she's someone I trust 100% with him, so she should be fine. She can't wait to have him.

So, send me some good appt. and strong heart beat vibes tomorrow at 11! Thanks.

C&K*s Mommie replied: (((good appt & strong hb vibes))) I cannot remember but is the hb expected to be heard around (8wks pg) 10 wks gestation, or was it a little later that a hb could be heard??

Well, I think it's not too common to hear it this early, but I'm still hoping...with Ashton we heard it around 9 weeks I think...

C&K*s Mommie replied: That is an encouraging sign. I just could not remember for certain when I heard the hb's the first time. With great amplification, I was hesistant to believe the horse hooves sounds I heard with C, was her hb, but my midwife assured me it was.
