First blood accident - Poor Jack

moped wrote: Fell on the corner of the coffee table satuday night - HOLY I was upset that DH wasn't watching him - I know accidents happen!!!!! First cut open lip.

Last night he woke up all night long crying - it is so unusual for him to do this, do you think it has anything to do with the lip?????

A&A'smommy replied: Poor baby Alyssa had done that but it was my fault bawling.gif anyway yeah he might have been a little sore for falling. sad.gif

JAYMESMOM replied: Yes it is possible. He was probably dreaming and remembering what happened.

Jayme does that the night after she gets shots or when she CIO to sleep at night.

It's their punishment to us for them getting hurt or being upset. LOL

moped replied: Gwen - that is just hwat my g/f told me that he was sleeping and remembered -

Mommy2BAK replied: AWW, poor baby!!! I hope his lip feels better soon. I understand why you were upset at DH. When Blakely was about a month old JOhn was picking her up and accidently bumped her head into a corner (he cried longer than her), I couldn't helo to be upset.

mammag replied: I know it was upsetting but probably won't be the last time it happens. I worried about every little bump and bruise Kristen got when she was a baby. It has gotten a lot easier with the boys. Cade would just walk into the corner of walls sometimes when he was that age. They are at an age where they are mobile but don't realize their own limitations. It can happen in a second so it doesn't necessarily mean he wasn't watching him.

Hope his boo boo gets all better soon.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Scary! Is he feeling better Jen? What are you putting on it? I would be afraid Wil would just lick off anything I put on his lip. Give him a hug for me! wub.gif

coasterqueen replied: Poor little guy. sad.gif I'm not sure why he woke up at night, but it could actually have just been hurting him. The first time I saw blood on Kylie was when she was playing outside and she (being very clumsy) tripped and fell flat on her face on the concrete. Her two front teeth went pretty far into her lip and blood was everywhere. I soooooo freaked out and ran her next door to where Dh was. I know it bothered her a great deal, it hurt so bad.

grouphug.gif for Jack. Hope he's feeling better today.

kimberley replied: poor baby! it prolly gave him a little scare sad.gif i hope he heals fast grouphug.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I remember the first time Maddie did this. (same thing...hit her lip on the coffee table at my parent's) It is SO scary...it seems like they bleed forever! sad.gif

Poor Jack! the mouth heals very quickly...I hope he sleeps better tonight. grouphug.gif

bwalkerletters replied: Hope Jack gets feeling better Jen

3xmommy replied: It'll be okay Jen. I know how you feel though. I still cry when one of mine gets hurt... which is normally quite often. I think small injuries like that are some kind of right to passage into childhood to be honest! rolling_smile.gif

He'll be okay and it probably does sting... I'm not sure how to fix that though unless you give him something cold.

MommyToAshley replied: grouphug.gif Poor Jack and poor Mommy! grouphug.gif

I hope he is feeling better.

Ashley's first blodo accident was busting her lip on my Mom's coffee table. bawling.gif I think I cried more than she did.
