First time in the theater
MommyToAshley wrote: Ohhh... I forgot to tell you. When we picked Ashley up from preschool on Tuesday, we went to lunch and then took her to see Curious George at the movie theater. This was her first time at the theater. We weren't sure how she would do since she is not the type to sit down and watch a 30-minute tv show, let alone a whole movie. But, she did GREAT! She loved every moment of it. The only time she got out of her seat was to dance to a few of the tunes. LOL!
Just thought I would share another "first" with you. We don't seem to have as many milestones to share now that they are getting older.
moped replied: How great - I wasn't sure when kids starting going to a movie, but now I know I can do it in about 2 years!!!!!!!
WTG Ashley - she is such a sweet girl!
DansMom replied: That's great! We haven't dared try this yet
kimberley replied: aww that's great! glad you both enjoyed it
coasterqueen replied: How fun! Glad she did well. Kylie's been several times now. I'm actually taking her to see Curious George this weekend. I think I'm more excited about it than she is.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: That's great! WTG Ashley! I'm axiously awaiting that moment, because DH and I love movies and can't wait to share the experience with Wil!

luvmykids replied: How fun! What a great girl you have, every time you post about Ashley I think she's a wonderful girl and you sound like such a neat family. We only tried it once, about a year ago, waaay too soon for our bunch. But I love movies so I can't wait to do it again.
ediep replied: how great!!
We took Jason a few weeks ago but he did't make it through the movie. He had to go potty, then he didn't want to go back into the theater...we may try again soon
3_call_me_mama replied: WTG Ashley Great choice for a first movie. We took Cameron a couple weeks ago (teh weekend it opened) to see it adn he loved it. It was his first movie too, so I was a bit nervous tha the would wnat to leave in the middle, or ask to change the movie!! LOL! I know milestones are getting far adn few between now. (Or maybe it's that there is so much else going on teh we overlook some of teh littel things that are firsts )
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Awesome!
We've taken Zach and Emilie to see a few movies. We've even been with all 3 kids - although I don't think that THAT will be repeated. It needs to be a one on one...
Wednesday, Zach went to see Curious George with my sitter and her 5 year old. He came home and told me ALL about it.
amynicole21 replied: WTG Ashley! Sophia sat through about 30min of Madagascar before she was ready to go... we haven't tried since
Boys r us replied: Awesome! I'm glad she liked it!! I want to take Brae to see it..maybe this weekend. The last one we saw was hoodwinked a few weeks ago. Both of my boys got started on the movie going EARLY in life, from about 15 mnths on.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: That is so much fun! I remember Maddie's first time in a theater
I know what you mean about the milestones. I feel so bad not talking about Maddie as much as I do Ethan, but he's at that age of firsts. Of course she is losing teeth and stuff....
C&K*s Mommie replied: So happy to hear that it was another 'first' for the memory books, and that she enjoyed it! You are right the first are becoming less frequent with age. But nonetheless we are all excited when they do happen.
I hope to take the girls one day to the theater one day. Christian went with my brother once. But Kellie has never been. So we will see...
Kaitlin'smom replied: I thought I responded
Glad she loved it.
Chiflata2003 replied: That's great! My dd is 2 1/2 and I'm still too scared to take her. She didnt like loud noises for a good while so I'm going to let her "mature" a little more.
