Freaked.. what would you do?

The mom was yelling to her child saying to get out and go to his own room and then slapping . Im not sure where the mom was hitting him but it didnt sound right. then i heard crying and more yelling. Ive been pretty leary of this family expecially the mom. The kids are alweays outside unattended and the kids got a hold of the moms car keys and got into the car and started goofing on in the car. And then the mom is constantly yelling at the kids and insulting them. Now i feel very scared for these kids...i want to reprt them but can i be someone that doesnt tell the cops my name but just inform them. its really getting out of hand and to a point where i am freaked! I know [parents get mad and such but this is the extreme

What would you do?

MM'sMama replied: OMG those poor kids my heart really goes out to them . I am not sure about there but I know you can report it here anonymously. I would call your local police and ask them and tell them do the the fast you live in the same "area" you would really rather she not know it was you. I hope that helps and that something is done and everything works out for those kids

Jamison'smama replied: I would call a child protection agency--I looked in your area and I found this. I'm not sure if it is right but something like this should do it.

kimberley replied: well i know the Children's Aid Society here takes anonymous calls. If you mention the possibility of physical abuse, it will get a worker out there before Christmas . if it is really just her shouting, i doubt they will even come.

You cant trust anyone anymore, plus what if something happens, I know I would feel bad if I didnt call the cops to inform them ahead of time.
