Gift Ideas? - for Christening

If it was me I would just do her name and if you dont think you can get it done before the christening maybe pay for it to be done and then the parents could drop it off. Maybe they would write you a gift certificate out saying to cover the expense of engravment.. HTH

Oh you'll be fine, the monogramming only takes a week.
They are really cute - white and pink with a butterfly that pops up and spins in circles.

Boo&BugsMom replied: Around here we have a pottery store called A Touch of Glaze. You pick a piece you want to paint, then they glaze it and fire it for you. They have piggy banks and all sorts of neat items to paint. Both boys have been given a piggy bank as a gift. Just an idea.

grapfruit replied: I received savings bonds as gifts at my Christening. I know this b/c when I turned 18 my dad gave them to me. I never even knew, but boy did they come in handy!!

Jamison has this exact one, it is really cute. There is a matching picture frame for it as well. If you have a store in your mall, the engraving only takes an hour.
