cameragirl21 replied: Nina, I voted for Sasha Addison because i don't care for the name Addison but just fyi, Sasha is a Russian name, so i think it goes with Odessa since that is a Russia (Ukrainian) city. BUT Sasha is not really a name, it's a nickname, the name is Alexandra or Alexander, depending on the gender of the baby. if you see a Russian kid or grownup called Sasha, you can be sure his/her name is Alexander/Alexandra. obviously you can name your baby whatever you want, including a nickname but i figured i'd give you a history/background of the name if you should choose it. I actually like the way Alexandra Addison sounds, and you can always call her Sasha.... ETA--Nina is a Russian name too, i don't know if it has Russian origins but it's a very common name in Russia.
CantWait replied: I think Sasha Addison flows better, but I like the name Addison better.

My3LilMonkeys replied: I'm torn because I think Sasha Addison sounds better, but I prefer Addison as a first name....
Nina J replied: DH told me he thinks the name Addison Helena sounds nice. Helena is a family name on DH's side, pronounced Ha-lee-na (I've met people with the name but they say it Helen-a)..Anyway, DH seems happy with that, I'm happy...I think I'll wait awhile before I tell him I don't like Ciaran for a boy as much as I used to
