Good News Bad News
TANNER'S MOM wrote: Well my computer got a virus the other day. My Norton did NOTHING with this one. I guess I will have to take it to a shop. So that's why I haven't been on here. I am at the library right now. I couldn't stay I missed everyone. I will try to check in when I can!
The good news...
I got a job! I am so excited! I don't start until next week. But it's with an accounting firm. Close to where Dh works so we can car pool if we need too. The thing I am most excited about is the owner of the firm. He said I want you to know I understand what being a parent is. He said when I look back at my career, I realise that I could have made alot of different decisions and maybe had a lot more money. But I was a father and that came first. My family always comes first. He said I am a professional and this is still just my job. Not who I am. He said I want this to be just your job! If you need time off for your children, if the school calls, if you have parent teacher conferences etc, it will not effect your job. He said I understand. You are a mother and then a worker and I think you will be a better worker if you don't have to worry about your family. So, that really sold me. I hope this is as good as it sounds because that really impressed me. So, I will let you know how it goes.

glad you found a job and I hope it works out. My new boss is way more family oriented then the old one was, mainly cause he has 2 boys that are still young and the old ones were all grown and dont live here.

A&A'smommy replied: I'm sorry about your computer, I recommend A.V.G Norton takes up too much memory and doesn't work as well plus you have to pay to keep it. You can get A.V.G free from download.com (my husband is the computer guy so I know all this stuff  )

Congrats on the new job -- it sounds perfect. He sounds like the perfect boss to work for. I feel the same way as he did... DH and I could have done some things differently with our business and we'd be making a lot more money right now. But, that would have meant taking time away from Ashley and no money is worth that. I am so happy for you, this sounds like the perfect opportunity.
