Got a Bumbo?
Boo&BugsMom wrote: How do you like it? Do you use it often? I had to take something back to the store for Aiden and could only get store credit, so instead I decided to get him a Bumbo with the money. He's not quite ready too sit for too long yet, but he seems to enjoy it for short periods for now. Does it come in handy or what? Any comments on the Bumbo? I never had one with Tanner...I don't think they were around then.
Our Lil' Family replied: YES YES YES! I had one and LOVED it so much that I give it as baby shower gifts now! It came in handy SO MANY TIMES! Restaurants, trips to visit friends/family, home, outside....you name it. We never went anywhere without it!!! You will love it!
Calimama replied: I love ours!! It was so helpful with Bella when I needed to do something. I know some people put them on the counter tops while they cook, but I would never do that with Bella. I was terrified she would fall off.
ETA: She still fits in it, but now she can get out and crawl away.
Boo&BugsMom replied: I'm so glad you guys like it! I'm really excited to have one for Aiden. He loves to sit up and all so I think it will be good for him. Now......I just have to wait until he discovers how to use his hands so he can actually "play" and we'll be set!
Brias3 replied: I've heard good things about them! I wish they had been around when mine were infants. Maybe they were and I just didn't know...
~Roo'sMama~ replied: OMG I want one of those so bad! I've heard that they're awesome. Allie loves to be sitting up I know she'd love it. I hope you like yours!
moped replied: Are they expensive?
coasterqueen replied: They weren't around when Kylie was born, but we got one as a gift for Megan. They are GREAT. We took ours to restaurants, even, and just sat it on top of the table so she could see what we were doing. It was very useful!
Calimama replied: Mine was $40 at Target. That's pretty much the average price, give or take a few dollars I think.
Mommy2Isabella replied: We had one with Bella, It was great! I gave it away when she figured out she could get out of it. It scared me.
We took our when we went out to eat, put it on the table ... VIOLA! LOL
Hope you enjoy it!
ZandersMama replied: Zaviers physiotheripist wants me to get one for him to help with his muscle tone issues, and the cheapest one I have come across yet is 70$ ........ ouch. Still working on getting him one, but i'm looking for one second hand, its alot to spend.
Boo&BugsMom replied: They have another brand of one too that is like it, but I decided on the Bumbo instead. The Bumbo is a nice softer and squishy material. The other one was a hard plastic. The Bumbo looked more comfortable. I paid $40, which happened to be the price of the sling we returned that he didn't care for. Perfect exchange!
lovemy2 replied: I just PMed you about this....
Boo&BugsMom replied: Wow, $70? I've only seen them for $40. Perhaps take a look at the babies r us or toys r us websites.
