Got some new kids in the nieghborhood

Her kids are 11, 7 and 5. The youngest is a boy named Jarron and he is in Mckaylee's class at school. The second oldest is a little girl named Aryanna, but I think they call her Anya and I forgot the oldest boys name. They are really sweet kids. I talked to their mom before and again this morning and she said the youngest boy was super shy and hardly ever talks, but he did ok over here. He was playing and riding bikes with the kids. He also spoke, so thats a good sign. They are a far improvement from the last kids. The other kids weren't bad, but they kind of just used Mckaylee and these kids are all about playing and the others weren't. These kids are more on my kids level..they like to be outside playing and don't try to talk Mckaylee into going into the house to watch tv because they don't have cable .
Russell loves the oldest boy because he came equiped with footballs and didn't mind tossing them to Russell.
They are really beautiful kids too. The mom is white and she told me the dad is black...but the kids don't have the more common features of mixed children. When I first saw them I thought they were mixed with something else. They are really beautiful though. The little girl is going to be a knockout someday..her poor mom..
redchief replied: No more stories of children of the corn?
mckayleesmom replied: That was at Fort. Knox....
OMG..I almost forgot about those kids.
I now realize that I have had a series of wierd neighborhood kids.
Calimama replied: Like what? I'm mixed so I'm curious what the common features are?
I'm glad they have someone to play with!
mckayleesmom replied: My niece is mixed too and she has more obvious features I guess. She has the curly hair and the darker skin...although not really dark. I have seen pictures of you denise and I would have never guessed you were mixed with black either. These kids have dark hair and darker skin, but more like a tanned tone although their hair is dark. I thought they would be mixed with Puerto Rican or Mexican...but I was wrong.
Calimama replied: Everyone tells me that.
Miabella has the dark hair and tan tone and people can NEVER guess what she is. Initially I think people assume Mexican (which there is a part) but I think her eyes throw them off.
mckayleesmom replied: Actually..thinking about it...They could probably pass as Miabella siblings if I saw them all together, but I think they are a little lighter toned. But like these kids...I would never guess that Miabella has black in her family line by just looking at her. Maybe their dad is mixed and that is perhaps why it isn't more obvious.
My niece's dad was black and her mom is white, blonde hair and blue eyes. Dessi has brown super curly hair and it has little blonde streaks that run through it...But she is obviously mixed...kwim?
I will see if I can dig up a picture of Dessi...
Calimama replied: I'm officially jealous.
mckayleesmom replied: I found one...
This is Dessi...isn't she cute? I can't see the streaks in her hair in this picture, but usually by the end of summer they are super bright.
Calimama replied: She's gorgeous!! She kinda looks like Olivia from the Cosby's!! I see what you mean, you can tell she's part black.
mckayleesmom replied: Yes you can tell...That is why I didn't realize the kids were part black. I didn't ask though..the mom just told me..I forget what brought it up. If she hadn't of brought it up..I would have thought they were mixed with mexican.
I think that picture of Dessi was taken the day that Leithan locked the keys in the car and we had to wait hours at the beach for a lock smith.
mckayleesmom replied: I found another picture...you can see the blonde in her hair here....
Sam & Abby's Mom replied: That Dessi is a knock out !!!!!!!
redchief replied: I knew that the kids across the street were not the "corn" kids, but their behavior was so odd that I naturally carried the description forward.
You're right... you attract some strange kids as neighbors.
I hope the string is broken!
