Yes, I know that insurance companies like to let things go long as they can. But I was really hoping we could have this settled this week. It really doesn't look that way now.

I was kinda counting on having this money before Christmas, so I could buy some clothes for the girls and myself. I don't have anything to wear to my OB appointment on Tuesday really. My jeans are about to tight now and the only other thing I have are jogging pants. I really do not want to wear jogging pants but I guess I will if I have to. If not maybe I can use some our grocery money buy some pants.

Darn this sucks.

Sorry to sound so whinny. I'm just so tired of counting on something and it not happening when it should. It seems like it happens all the time.

Mine made the offer, I accepted but my butthead of an attorney took his time sending the check. They had the check 3 months before they bothered to send it to me.

Kaitlin'smom replied: not sure of all things going on but usualy insurance sompanys want to settle sooner rather than later. TBH its laywers who slow it down, not saying your laywer is but in general when a laywer gets involved the whole process slows down. Make sence?

anyway sorry its taking a while I have come to learn never to count on anything espically if I need it, cause that when it does not happen.

Tish (I hope I got your name right) they have made two offers the last one was made last Wednesday. I don't really think it is my lawyers fault, though I probably would have been happy with the second offer. I guess he was just trying to get us more money.

Oh, well hopefully it will all be taken care of before Jan. 1st, hopefully.

I know how you feel. I usually find out my raise for next year and have received my bonus by now so Dh and I can get something for each other but instead my boss is dodging me STILL . He's at the bar now having a good time while he knows I came into work today just to find out about it, he promised me today. JERK! We don't need anything so that's fine, but still. Sorry turned into my own little vent.

There are a few days left so hopefully you hear something soon.

Oh, well at least one good thing happened. Rob sold a extra computer he had. So we will have little bit extra cash for Christmas.

yep like if you waite till January and have a Kohls you can get some incredable deals. I remember one year I had gift card total was like 75 and I got 10 different pieces of clothes my MIL thats it I am always giving you a gift card you can get way more than I can can with the same ammount of money.

there online clearance section not great. I find JcPennys much better. They also usually have great deals but since they are mall related I cant get anyone to give me gift card to there.
