Grr... frustrating appointment

Mommy2BAK replied: Oh Sara, I am so sorry to hear that. I remember feeling the same way. Maybe you could try all those tips that people put about going into labor in Genaral Pregnancy. Just definately not the Castor Oil one! That could be very harmful!!

luvbug00 replied: Wow that's exactly how much I was dialated in the beginning of labor at 11:am and she was out by 10:55 pm. read the labor inducing page like our fellow member segested and you'll be a mommy in no time. Good luck and congrats'!!

amymom replied: Sara I totally know what you mean! My daughter was 14 days late, and every appt from 39 weeks on they said, we will schedule the induction next visit. Finally day 13, Monday afternoon,3pm only 1 cm dilated... induction scheduled for Tuesday morning 7:30, we went home, I sent my sister to the grocery store (hee hee) we did most of the things listed in the other thread and 3am my water broke, went to hospital 1 cm dilated. phooey! No induction needed, My daughter was born at 8:15am. So I hope yours happens tomorrow. <<<<<<<sending soon labor vibes >>>>>>

Especially use the red rasberry tea, after ...ya know

ediep replied: ok, try some eggplant, spicy food, fresh pineapple, sex (if you are up for it, I know when I was that pregnent, I was not!)

and definately try to rest....

A&A'smommy replied: Uh well hun I was 6 days overdue and I was almost dialated to two centimeters dialated... just relax it is SO much better to relax and enjoy what you can until he/she gets here. It wont be long now ((((HUGS)))) and LOTS Of come out baby vibes!!

I know it's no comfort, but the end is near. Just try to relax and enjoy the moment because it's your last....alone .

It really won't be long sweetie. I know it seems like forever, but the baby has to come out eventually. You must be giving her a nice cozy lil home. She's too comfy to come out.

amymom replied: Sara, I was thinking about you, one thing that helped me was that I made plans for a time in the future to be my new 'mental' due date, Like lets say June 17th. (You know you won't go that long ... they won't let you). So then when she came anytime sooner I would be 'surprised'. yeah right, it only helped sometimes, but those times it helped were a godsend. I know this may sound strange but it really helped me not sit around and be frustrated. It was like ... oh I can do this, I'm not due until the end of next week. My son was a week early so six years later when I was waiting for my DD it felt like forever!!!
