Guess what?

Kaitlin'smom wrote: Oh no sorry not that, I am NOT PG. I did have to share that DH has the baby bug ohmy.gif he asked me last night if I wanted another baby ohmy.gif I can tell he does. Of course your wondering my feeling on this and I will be honest sure I would love to hold another baby but I dont want another one. So I guess now its up to me to be careful and get on some sort of BC.

DansMom replied: Ahhh!!! I fell for it---I thought for sure you had a special announcement. Well, maybe soon, eh? wink.gif

kimberley replied: lol i fell for it too! you little bugger! haha rolling_smile.gif i thought i was done with 2 boys... guess i was wrong blush.gif never say never wink.gif

mama3x replied: I know how you feel. I thought I was done with DD last year and thought well MAYBE when she's 3 we can try again (DH wanted another, his boy). WELL there are things that happen and I got pg when DD was 11 months old! AUGH!

Good luck in whatever you choose to do!

MommyToAshley replied: LOL! You stinker, you got me too!

I agree, never say never! wink.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: oh dont get me wrong I have not totaly ruled it out for good, I dont plan on running off andd getting fixed, maybe in a few years I will consider it. I feel like I am just getting ueded to being a mommy I dont want ot add anything more to my plate right now, and there is also another reason I dont want to anytime in the next year or more but I wont get into that now. I just thogut it was kinda weird for him to get the bug, I am sure it will pass.

MomToMany replied: ohmy.gif My heart skipped a beat when I read the title! You got me too!

Good luck with whatever you decide. It's a decision only you can make. And I agree, never say never! Your heart might decide something else in the future.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: laugh.gif You had me, Di!! I know how you feel. I was the same way until Maddie was 3! I could have gone longer, but I knew if I was going to have more I'd better get it out of the way now. wink.gif I'm so glad I did. Now we are thinking of trying again in a few more years. We haven't ruled it out completely either. I don't know. Sometimes I say I'm thru and sometimes I ache for another. rolleyes.gif

coasterqueen replied: You certainly had me going. tongue.gif DH and I said that for a tiny bit of time that we didn't want another one, but then the baby aches came and we were ready, lol. I'll tell you if we actually are when this one arrives. biggrin.gif

What really drove us to go ahead and have a 2nd one instead of waiting...we would have waited a bit longer if DH had his way was because of our age. We are only 30 (well Dh will be in a few weeks) and we want to be as young as we can having kids because we want to be young when they are out of the house, when we retire, and when we become grandparents. laugh.gif

Kirstenmumof3 replied: laugh.gif Okay I fell for it too! I agree with everyone though never say never! I thought I was done after Emily and Spencer and was quite shocked when DH agreed to have one more!

MomToMany replied: Just wanted to add that we've never put a limit on the # of kids we'd have. We just go with it; if it feels right, then it must be. I also get the feeling that there's someone "missing" from our family. So we go for it. Most people think we're nuts (I'm sure there's some on here too) for having so many, but it's perfect for us. We wouldn't have it any other way.

Josie83 replied:
I agree with you Mollie, its definitely a case of "each to their own!" wink.gif I'm really happy just with Cassie, and don't think Jason and I will have any more but hey I've only just turned 21, a lot can happen in years to come! biggrin.gif A lot of ppl would argue with me just wanting one and think THAT'S crazy! Personally I couldn't contemplate having five like you do wacko.gif , but I would never for a moment think you were crazy (just admire your juggling skills! wink.gif) And by the way Di, you're a little monkey because I feel into the trap as well! I know how you feel tho, because sometimes Jason says he would quite like another baby! wub.gif xx

A&A'smommy replied: Well its definitly something to think about lol someday maybe, eh? I'm like you enjoying the one that I have (I use to get baby fever REAL bad but I'm glad its gone!) I love Alyssa and I do plan on having more someday just not right now...

Tamatha replied: I fell for it, too! Nice one!! lol Ya know, for a long, long time, every time I said "Guess What?!" to any of my friends, they immediately jumped to the conclusion that I was pg! Now hubby and I are TTC, so I can't wait to tell them for real!!

Anyway, I have a question--how many of you who have one child or are only planning on having one child are only children in your families? I can tell you, growing up as an only child STINKS! lol Every year for Christmas and my birthday for many years I begged for a baby brother or sister! I never got one. And I swore that I would have at least 2 children so that my kids would never have to be alone like I was... Just curious if I was warped by my status as an only child, and if some of you who are planning to only have 1 have siblings?

Have a great day!
