Guess what I got?
BAC'sMom wrote: Well as most of you know my DH forgot about Mother’s Day. No card, No gift, he did not even wish me Happy Mother’s Day. I didn’t say anything to him about it till Monday night, I asked why he didn’t get me anything for Mother’s Day? He said no reason but if it helps I feel like crap about it. Well yesterday I received roses! Funny thing is that I already knew that he had purchased something at a florist. That what online banking can do for you.
So should I forgive him or let him stew? I am leaning more towards let him stew. I didn’t even bring up the flowers last night and guess what he didn’t either.
Take a looksie….
1lilpeanut2love replied: WOW!! They are SO beautiful! You lucky duck! I would let him stew too!! He should have gotten them on mother's day!! LOL!! Sorry about that!
C&K*s Mommie replied: What beautiful flowers!
Despite the witch that I have been lately, I would say forgive, forget and move on. It may have been an afterthought, to buy the flowers, but he did and he must have been sorry that you were hurt by not rec'g anything on Sunday.
Beautiful flowers, he dd good!!
KingMom replied: I agree, forgive, forget, and move on. It hurts them more when you don't let things go when they've tried to make up for it.
They are beautiful by the way...
I do think it's okay to tease him and laugh about it but not let him think you are mad at him, atleast he tried to apologize, right?
Bee_Kay replied: ITA!! They are very pretty!!
JP&KJMOM replied: Well I am glad you got them. Sorry for laughing just thinking about yesterdays email. They are absolutely beautiful. WTG dh for picking beautiful but for being late!
AlexsPajamaMama replied: Pretty Roses!
BAC'sMom replied: Yes, he does have good taste! I still can’t help but think that it is funny that I knew they (flowers) were coming hours before they arrived. Actually I had already left for the day, my boss called me on my cell and told me to come back to work that I had got Roses. Anyway after I get over my mad spell I’ll thank him. I just can’t believe that after all these years (17) that he would forget something like Mother’s Day. But I guess I’ll keep him.
lisar replied: Those are nice flowers. I would let it stew for a day or two and then thank him for the flowers. But thats just me.
Halo42101 replied: Beautiful roses, Jimmie. I think it was sweet and thoughtful of him, even if it was a little late.
3xsthefun replied: They are beautiful roses! I think I would forgive him.
ashtonsmama replied: They're gorgeous...but he could have at least gotten you a card and said Happy Mother's Day IMO.
CantWait replied: Forgive and Forget, he made up for it. They're beautiful.
luvmykids replied: I know it sucks that it was late, but I say when a man does the right thing reward him with lots of positive affirmations and pats on the back, just like a dog.
Glad you got some beautiful flowers anyway!
Brias3 replied: I know its stinky that he was late but maybe better late than never! I guess dealing with men, sometimes you have to force yourself to think this
holley79 replied: They are very beautiful. I would let him stew but I'm in a "butt" mood tonight.
