Had to share this funny - *embarrasing sorta*

Fast forward to a minute after I recover. Robbie goes to turn on the tv, and there's a huge spark, like the size of a tennis ball, I go to turn on the t.v. and nothing.

I fell so hard I tripped the breaker in his room and part of the computer room.

lol, i had a similar type incident back when i lived in an apartment...i had dismantled my smoke detector because it was way too sensitive and made a God awful noise everytime i attempted to cook. so fast forward to the time i'm moving out and thinking they'll use the smoke detector hanging out of the wall as an excuse to keep my deposit so i get on a stool...mind you with countertops and hard tile floor all around me, stick my face WAY too close to the smoke detector (i'm a bit near sighted and even though i do wear contacts, my natural inclination is to look very closely at everything), get my hands all tangled up in the wires and just shove the darn thing into the wall...yep, you guessed it, it didn't exactly have the desired effect--instead, it exploded in my face and i consider myself lucky not to have a. singed off my eyebrows, b. got thrown off the stool onto the tile and countertops, and most of all, c. been electrocuted.
none of the above happened but after the explosion there was darkness everywhere and it turns out that i'd thrown off the circuit to the ENTIRE building.
now mind you, i am the daughter of two electrical engineers....
