Hair pulling!
A&A'smommy wrote: Its driving me crazy!!!! I know she is too young to understand no no but I say it anyway so she will learn it. If she can't reach my hair she pinches my neck or whatever she can grab It hurts like H*** and I take it in the middle of the night! What can I do!! I have tried distracting her pulling her hands away, saying no no a million times. Let me tell when she wakes up first and pulls your hair that is the WORST way to wake up! Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get her to stop?
lsjulee replied: and now, mine is foot tickling as a wake up call from An.
My kids would pull my hair too whenever I carried them. My soft 'no' turned into stern 'no' and then a blarred 'no', then would they stop.
CantWait replied: No ideas sorry. You just reminded me. Anthony just got out of this stage about a month ago. I haven't noticed him doing it as much.
momof2girls replied: My baby does it too, when I say NO in a rather unpleasent voice she stops at the moment but then does it again. lol
A&A'smommy replied: I guess its a faze and now I feel a little better Knowing im not the only one with a strong no at times! Thanks ladies for your responses!
Kirstenmumof3 replied: I had to cut my hair short when all 3 of my children where babies. Maybe just try putting it up in a pony tail or something like that. It's just a phase and should pass soon.
ctymom replied: My baby would do that constantly. Especially hitting in the face! I would tell her no and "make nice" while showing her what nice is. She doesnt hit anymore but sometimes gets alittle excited and will catch someone on accident.

aspenblue1 replied: Isabella used to do that also. I just pulled mine back so she couldn't pull it
ediep replied: Jason did this all the time. I constantly had to wear my hair in a pony tail. He eventually grew out of that stage and he hardly does it anymore.
kimberley replied: give her a blanky or teddy to sleep with. it isn't 100% effective but it helps keep their little hands occupied. Jade has learned she can lift both legs high and drop them like bombs on the bed because it is soft. well one morning she missed the bed and hoofed me right in the stomach while i was sound asleep . hope the phase passes soon for you.
amynicole21 replied: Oh yes... nothing can turn my mood faster than Sophia giving me that look and yanking on a handful of hair I put my hair in a ponytail as soon as I walk in the door now.
coasterqueen replied: Just wait til she pulls out your earrings. Kylie has gone from the hair fascination to the earrings.
bellymonstersmama replied: Annabella has been pulling my hair alot lately too. I tried saying "Ouch" and forcing a sad look on my face but she just laughed.
MommyToAshley replied: Ashley used to do this too. I'd put my hair in a ponytail and she'd still grab the little hairs on the back of my neck...OUCH! It's a phase though, I am sure she will outgrow it soon. I can't remember exactly when Ashley outgrew it, but it's been a while.
3xsthefun replied: Maegan has been doing that since she was couple months old. I'm not sure what to tell you what to do. I know it hurts! She loves to get ahold of Kaitlynn's hair also. I usually tell her "NO" but she just looks at me. She has started that hitting phase also. I hope she stops pulling hair soon though. I can put my hair up in a pony tail and she still gets my hair. Heck she pulls my husbands hair.
I don't think Kaitlynn pulled my hair like Maegan does.
A&A'smommy replied: that is what alyssa does even if I pull my hair back she STILL pulls my hair and it hurts worse then. I'm just going to deal with it and hope she grows out of it soon, this kid pulls everyones hair
momof2girls replied: My baby is the same way! My neighbor has a baby that is a month younger and has lots of hair and my baby will pull her babies hair, I say NO but she keeps doing it!
