mammag wrote: Yep with 4 kids, I have to start planning early so it hit me....

I have just the right number of kids to do Wizard of OZ!

Kristen - Dorothy
Cade - Tin Man
Conner - Scarecrow
Keegan - Lion

I'm getting really excited about the whole thing. elephant.gif

TANNER'S MOM replied: Tanner is going to be an ATM

ANd I want the older kids (if by some grace of God they decide to still trick or trick)
To be appliances.. washer dryer and stove

I have already been planning how to make also!

coasterqueen replied: LOL! You all crack me up! I actually was thinking about this last night and only because I was going through Kylie's old clothes trying to find some more 3-6 months ones for Megan and came across Kylie's "My First Halloween" onesie. I'm hoping it will still fit Megan by then, probably not with my luck. tongue.gif As far as Kylie...she changes her mind on a daily basis so we'll wait til we get closer to the date.

luvbug00 replied: LOL emlaugh.gif rolling_smile.gif Oh you are all killing me!! I love it! I have no Idea what Mya wants to be she hasn't mentioned it yet...hold on .... a verdict. She wants to be a penguin!!! emlaugh.gif

TANNER'S MOM replied: Thats the thing..when u have so many...
U tell them what they are gonna be! lol

I have never bought a custome ever! To expensive...it's against my grain.. It is a corporate holiday..lol

That being said... I spend alot of money on making them..some thing I know rolleyes.gif emlaugh.gif So I make NO SENCE what so ever!

I just prefer to do them myself...so the kids aren't all the same as there friends..

Tanner won a custome contest Last year..... He was a box of popcorn of my own invention..lolol popcorn2.gif popcorn2.gif popcorn2.gif

mckayleesmom replied: Well...if I get a sewing machine for my birthday...Im going to make Mckaylee a lollypop kid from the wizard of oz.....And Im not sure about the baby yet.

mom21kid2dogs replied:
In a few years with a few more kids you could be the Von Trapp Family!! rolling_smile.gif

kellibellisdillybear replied: Now all you need is you to be Glenda (no one needs a wicked witch these days!) and ToTo!

What did everyone do for their babies 1st? Dylan will be almost 8 months, and will be T or Ting in Michigan! Any suggestions??

TANNER'S MOM replied: Orange sleeper.... Green hat..

The great Pumpkin of course..

For Britt first she had a lot of hair...I dress her in Brown did some war paint..and hot glued a feather on a head band..she was an indian..

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: I have NO IDEA what Mackenzie will be, she will be two weeks away from her 1st b-day at Halloween. Any suggetions????????

NummyMommy replied:
OMG!...I had that idea last year but got vetoed! (everyone decided to wait a year so the baby would be walking) I even have the blue gingham material already for Dorothy and the fur for the baby to be Toto. Only problem now is the boys are fighting over who gets to be the cool Tinman and who has to be the itchy Scarecrow (I'll be using yarn for the straw so it won't be so bad). With Daddy as the Lion I guess all thats left to decide is whether I'm a good witch or a bad witch tongue.gif

kellibellisdillybear replied: well, I nicknamed Dylan Dillybear because when he was newborn, if he 'fell' off my breast, he would close his mouth and make this little growl in disgust, now he growls again, but from the back of his throat, so anyway, a bear would be fitting.

But, also, he LOVES his stuffed Curious George, so has anyone ever seen a Curious George costume? Or,I was thinking, maybe he could be the guy from the book, and carry his George bigthink.gif

kellibellisdillybear replied: DH has dibs on next year thought, he said I get to pick his first year, but his second, he's got to be Elvis. He has this whole plan about his suit, and he's going to bring a boom box to play the music, and he's going to teach DS some moves.... weirdo.gif

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I am having my mom look in her cedar chest. She made the most adorable clown costumes when my sister and I were little. I don't know if DS is big enough for it yet though. If he isn't, I found an adorable elephant costume.

Jamison'smama replied: No idea for Jamison--. I have a ballerina costume I bought after Halloween last year for her to dress up in---She also has a Cinderella dress.

Jack will be Jack Jack of course--from the Incredibles--I hope they are making costumes for that as I CANNOT sew! Jamison would love to be an Incredible as well but I doubt she would keep on the long dark hair to make her Violet--she could go as Dash I suppose.

mckayleesmom replied: I think Im going to make Russell Pattington Bear

boobies4virtue replied: DD's bd is 2 days b4 halloween and it falls on a sat so i'm assuming that's when they will do trick or treat so we're having a bday party/trick or treat party. She's going to be tinkerbell or the little mermaid. I found the cutest pattern for a tink costume, but she's a redhead and would make a perfect little mermaid. Decisions, decisions.....

punkeemunkee'smom replied: rolling_smile.gif Taylor has been a cow(her 1st) and an angel (her 2nd) and my favorite A CHRISTMAS TREE(her 3rd) I made it complete with blinking lights and presents on her feet and an angel on her head! It was a riot!!! This is a pic of a pic~

mckayleesmom replied: Mckaylee was a Toad her first holloween and a pink poodle her second holloween

NummyMommy replied: That Christmas tree is soooo cute wub.gif it reminds me of the time I didn't have an outfit when I was a kid so I made my own (Christmas tree with my dog as a reindeer lol) Mine wasn't nearly as cute as yours!

NummyMommy replied: Oh and.....my oldest was a pumpkin for his first...my next was a spider(his b-day is Halloween so his first first doesnt count tongue.gif ) my next was a caterpillar and... my youngest was a bat {baby.gif} The coolest by far was the spider one....silver glitter webbing on a black sweat suit with 4 stuffed black mens socks sewed along side and wired together with silver pipe cleaners. Everyone loved that one and nobody had to ask what he was LOL rolling_smile.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied:
my sitter did that last year they all looked cute, even got a picture taken, from the picture people.

A&A'smommy replied: AWWWWW how cute!!!!! love2.gif love2.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: What size costumes do you need? I have Dorothy and the Lion from last year (I made them both) wub.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I have no idea what the kids will be this year. Maddie changes her mind a lot, too. rolleyes.gif

stanleygirl replied: I have this REALLY warm jacket that is reversible, tiger or lion, Kieran wore it when he was a baby and Brady will wear it this year (it is really codl here at that time, so it needs to be a warm costume), and I will just let Kieran pick something from the store, last year he wanted to be man-man (spiderman LOL) but he was too small for all the costumes, so we'll see if he picks that again.

MM'sMama replied: Dh and I are planning to dress up as Cinderella and Prince Charming and dress the kids up as mice. My mom is going to make us really elegant and elaborate costumes. I'm really excited I can't wait wub.gif biggrin.gif

mammag replied:
Well, Kristen is a 10 so I don't think that would work. laugh.gif

Keegan will be one...

You did a wonderful job! I wish I was that crafty and could do it myself. I have a sewing machine but am not that confident in my abilities.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Ethan was almost 8 months at the time he wore it and it was a little big. If you want to try it on Keegan let me know.

3_call_me_mama replied: KAthleen is going as Dorothy (was gonna attempt to make her outfit since i can sew, but the pattern was $15, and almost 10 for the material, but i found oen on ebay for $5.99, so jsut gonna get a premade one. I got her ruby red sparkly slippers too:) Cameron I have no clue. I jsut bring him to a store adn let him pick one out. He did great last year, and went as a skunk, Kathleen was snow white for her first halloween (little i\tiny costume form toys are us) it was cute too cause she slept most of the walk around town so she looked like the real snow white after she was poisoned. we put her in a wagon on a pillow and satiny blanket so it looked really cute. Cameron was a skeleton for his first halloween. Still have the costume too, also i have a 0-3 month Bee outfit, cause Cameron was due on halloween and if he was born then , i wanted his hospital pictures done in it:)
