Hannah Grace was born last Thurs at 5:53am weighing 7 pounds 8 ounces and 20 inches long. Not bad for being between 35-36 weeks bepending on what duedate you use (I had dates that range between 5/25 thru 5/31, but I used 5/25 b/c I knew I'd go early).
So here's my abreviated story:
I was having contractions ever 10 minutes from 9:30 on, but thought the were B&H b/c they weren't hard and my whole stomach wasn't contracting. At 10:30 I went to take a bath b/c I thought that would make them go away. I kept contracting every 10 min, but they still felt weak. So I got out of the tub at 11:11 (make a wish), checked on the kids, and crawled into bed around 12. I was trying to do some self hypnosis to fall asleep and just as I fell asleep, I felt (and heard) a loud POP! "Uh Oh!" I never jumped out of bed so fast. I ran for the bathroom and called Brian, who thought I was stuck in the tub (he fell asleep 2 mins after I was in the tub). lol
We called the MW, and my MIL and arrived at the hospital at 1:30ish (after Brian asked me if I knew how to get to the hospital @@). They gave me an antibiotic IV, which took an hour. Then checked me at 3am and I was 4cm. By 4am I was 7cm. Hannah was born at 5:53am. No drugs, nada. Personally, I would have had an epi if there had been time.
She is truly an miracle, perfect in every way, and we all adore her. She is home, but on a bili blanket b/c her bilruben is high. Hopefully that will resolve in the next day or two. I am BFing (another surprise) but they have me supplimenting too b/c of the jaundice. I hope that supplimenting doesn't mess up the BFIng b/c I'm actually doing well with it this time around. The visiting nurse comes once a day and Hannah has been 6 pounds 12 oz the last 2 days, which is very good. Today she is sleepy so I think that one week growth spurt is on its way.
I think about you all a lot but things are crazy here. I will try to check in & catch up as much as I can. In a few weeks things will be more normal. Good luck to all the other mommies (and daddies) in waiting.

I'm glad everything went well for you! Keep up the good work with BFing. I was really nervous about BFing, too, I didn't with my boys (long story), and I've been nursing MY Hannah Rose  for over a year now!

as for the worries of supplementing messign up the bfing, you can supplement in ways other than a bottle. would definitely look into it. I've heard way to many sad moms tell the tale of nipple confusion.
you can feed with a cup, syrenge, supplemental nursing system, spoon.

Thanks Everyone for your congrats and advice. I will post pics as soon as I figire out how to do it. I am a computer idiot. lol
Hannah is doing well and eating a lot. She goes back for a 3 weeks check up on Friday so I'll know how much she has gained then. She eats every 3 hours for 40 mins to an hour. I guess that is normal. My other 3 were bottle fed, and ranged from taking an hour and half to 10 minutes to drink a bottle. I have no idea what is normal for BFing. She is very pretty and sweet, so I don't mind. Although I am starting to get tired.
How are the other preggies doing? I hope you're all feeling good!
