Hannah is sick again...

MomToMany wrote: I brought her to the Dr. yesterday because she's had a cold for a couple weeks now, had a fever, and coughing so much to the point of throwing up. This usually means pneumonia for her, and it was. This is the 4th time now for her having it, and they can't tell me why she keeps getting it. I feel so bad sometimes, like it's something I'M doing wrong, but I know that's not true. Seeing her cough so bad is really scary, but she has to get that junk out. So she's on antibiotics and prednisolone to help with the inflamation in her airways, plus she still gets her nebulizer treatments 4x a day.

bawling.gif I HATE seeing any of my kids sick. Poor girl, I hope she feels better soon!

DansMom replied: Poor Hannah... I hope the meds work quickly. It is SO hard to watch your little loved one be miserable and sick and not be able to provide instant relief for them. grouphug.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Awwww! Poor thing. That is terrible. I hate when Maddie is sick, too. Especially coughing. It makes me want to cough for her. sad.gif Have they done testing for asthma?

MomToMany replied: The Dr.'s have said that she might develop asthma because of having pneumonia so frequently. It's one of the reasons we have our own nebulizer, in case she starts wheezing and can't catch her breath. But they haven't said anything about it being or causing anything else.

Thanks for all the well-wishes! She's doing better after a few doses of medicine already.

chloe&tysmommy replied: oh my, poor little thing! Hope she feels better soon and hopefully the docs can figure out whats going on

<<<big hugs>>> for you and Hannah
