kit_kats_mom replied: Thanks guys! I ended up having a very nice day. Katherine was attached to the boob all day since she still isn't feeling well but my mom showed up on the doorstep at 5:30 and told me to go get dressed.  I didnt' know what was going on but I did it anyway. DH came home around 6 and gave me the sweetest homemade card (made me cry)...something pretty cheesy but very sweet. On the front is a picture of some ham next to some cheese and a picture of DD and DH, and it says "what do these photos have in common?" when you open it, there is a ham and cheese sandwich and a pic of DD, DH and I and it says "they were missing the key ingredient"....so I guess I'm the bread of life? LOL  so creative and sweet.  Anyway, we went to dinner at carrabas and a couple of our friends were there to meet us. I had a few drinks and a wonderful meal and I came home to a freshly bathed baby who is resting on her daddy now. AHHHH Bliss!

Aweee! What a sweet DH and Mom! I don't think the card was "cheesy" at all, I think it is awesome. Definitely a keepsake item! Glad you had a great birthday!
