Happy dance! We are home

Laurens ped stopped the blow by o2 treatments this morning because her lungs sounded better. He said that if the apnea monitor didn't go off a lot during the day, that we could go home. Well, she did fine and so we are home. Just sent DH to the store to get her albuteral perscription so I can do nebulizer treatments every 4-6 hours and she's hooked up to the apnea/heart monitor just in case. We also re-learned infant cpr.....just in case.

WHEW! I'm so happy to be home and that my baby is doing better.

LOL Kimberly. Actually, it's doing a bit better...he can walk but it still hurts and he's limping. Apparently it's moved to his knee. He met with an orthopedic dr. yesterday since the podiatrist couldnt' find anything wrong. Now he's got an appointment with a rhumatologist later this week. We suspect is psudogout which is an arthritic type condition that has to do with an overabundance of calcium crystals in the blood. Trouble is, there's no real cure for it. It usually hits people in the 60's and above but for some reason it's targeted him. We will learn to live with it if he ever gets a good solid diagosis. I think the most frusterating thing is not knowing what it is.

Thanks for thinking about him though.

Katherine seems fine right now. She was so happy when I got home and woke her up from her nap. That smile just kills me!

I seriously think that my MIL grates on her nerves with the baby talk. DH said that MIL started in with the baby talk at the airport and K looked at him like "why is she talking down to me...I'm not a baby!"

Lauren brought Dumbo home from the hospital for K and she's been glued to the TV. I had to leave the room...baby mine and post partum don't mix. I know I'd be a blubbering idiot by the end of the song if I stayed put.

By the way, btdt with the apnea monitor and the nebuilzier treatments. ARent' they just a pain in the butt!? Does yours go off as much as mine!? When Peter was a baby his would go off for no reason all the time! I hated it! Nicky was on the nebuilzier.
