Has anyone seen BOLT - what ages?
moped wrote: I am wondering about BOLT the dog movie, has anyone seen it? Would it be appropriate for Jack?
stella6979 replied: Yep! I took Avery to see and we both LOVED it!!! He might like Monsters Vs. Aliens too.
coasterqueen replied: Loved it We took the girls to see it when visiting in Chicago in December of last year. We saw it in 3D. It was cool. I was worried about the girls seeing it in 3D, like maybe it would bother them, but it didn't.
moped replied: I watched the trailer for M vs A and I am not sure it is appropriate for him at all, the age rating is 7 and up!
stella6979 replied: It really wasn't bad at all. We took Avery to see it last weekend.
Mommy2Isabella replied: Bolt was great! We took Isabella when it was in theaters here and it was the first movie she sat thru.
Coraline was the second and I regret taking her to see that, she was scared ... I didn't realize how scary that movie was going to be ...
DVFlyer replied: Saw it, own it. Were just watching it again yesterday.
A&A'smommy replied: YES and Alyssa says "it is VERY powerful" those are her exact words

moped replied: Really? That is HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!
mom21kid2dogs replied: It was a very good movie. I don't think there would be anything he would be afraid of, although the dog does get into some peril, especially at the end which worried Olivia, but she is very sensitive to "animals in peril" scenes. It resolves nicely and fairly quickly, though. I would think his age might like Monsters vs Aliens more, though. I was completely bored out of my socks at that one, but Olivia thought it was hilarious.
MoonMama replied: I took Brae to see it and he loved it.
Calimama replied: Loved it!!
Kirstenmumof3 replied: It's so cute! Claudia (6) and 3 year old nephew just loved it! Okay so did the big kids too!
Our Lil' Family replied: Good to hear!! Thomas is getting it from the Easter Bunny.
Monsters vs. Aliens was okay for a 4 year old? My mom needs something to do with him tomorrow night and that was my idea....
stella6979 replied: Avery's 3 and we took her but she doesn't really scare easily. Although it wasn't really scary, but there was some shooting when it came to the bad guys. I guess it just all depends on the kid. We all liked it though and the 3D made it even cooler.
Our Lil' Family replied: Thanks Shelly...I think I'll let her take him!
stella6979 replied: You're welcome. I hope they have a great time!
Kaitlin'smom replied: Kaitlyn is 6 and she liked it
but she does not want to see monsters vs aliens infact she canciled a paydate for today cause they are going, I even has her watch trailers to see if she might think it woudl be okay she was adiment she woudl not like it and woudl be so board.
coasterqueen replied: Hmm, I hope it's a good movie (M vs. A). The girls were begging to go last weekend, Megan moreso than Kylie, but it just didn't work out. So we might go this weekend.
Kaitlin'smom replied: DH thinks it looks cute but its not my type of movie however I did not express my opion till she made her mind up, kinda sad for her, she was pretty upset they were going and she just did not want to go so we made her some other plans on her first day of spring break.
A&A'smommy replied: YES she told my grandfather about it SEVERAL weeks ago we all thought it was hilarious!!!
moped replied: I watched the trailer for M vs A and I will not be taking Jack at all..........I don't think it is suitable for him at 4
