Kaitlin'smom replied: no have you?
amynicole21 replied: Not that I recall...
MomToMany replied: YES!!! Happens all the time...
coasterqueen replied: Yes, as a matter of fact it happens to me all the time. Yesterday I was shutting everything down at the office. I turned out all the lights in the back part of the office but forgot something in the break room so instead of turning on all the lights I just went back there and got what I needed. Then all of a sudden I got the weebie jeebies and started running to the front part of the office.
Happens to me at home all the time too.
Kaitlin'smom replied: oh Karen your funny!
Boys r us replied: yeah!!!!! It doesn't happen too often, but I've DEFINITELY had it happen!!
chloe&tysmommy replied: LOL!!!!!!
I used to do this when I'd be walking up the stairs from the basement....mind you my brother used to yell "the boogie mans after you"....lol so I'd run up the stairs very fast The joys of having 3 older brothers
alice&arik replied: I still get scared when I come up stairs from a dark basement!! I always think something is after me. I think I watched Stephen King's "IT" too much when I was little.
But yeah I have to admit, I am still a little scared of the dark. Once in a while I walk through a dark room and think maybe there is a spider crawling around that I can't see and have to find the closest light switch. Or if I watch a scary movie I am scared for about 2 days.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: Oh yes. I have had this happen to me before. LOL!!!! I knew someone who lived in this old vacation house on Lake Ronkonkoma on Long Island. This house was just old and it had that vibe. To get down to her room we had to climb down this spiral staircase. I would always get the Weebie Jeebies down there. Her room had a door that led into the basement which used to be used as a maid's quarters. All sorts of weird things used happen in that house. She was a good friend, but that house always made me nervous.
Zoe'sMommaCamie replied: Deffinatly! This house is sooo old! My mom and uncle grew up in it. It creeks and it freaks me out sometimes.
Karen, if you're in your office, a public place it can be very scary. I think women get that feeling more often than men.
paradisemommy replied: I totally know what you are talking about and YES!! I used to get it all the time at work (when I used to work) and now I'll occassionally get it here at home too! Dh works 24 hours so I'm home alone occassionally and I think I creep myself out with my thoughts.. But it sure doesn't help that some of taven's toys go off by themselves every now and then..
it's not really funny but the visual i got when i read this was just too funny!! thanks for the laugh!!
aspenblue1 replied: Its happened to me before.
coasterqueen replied: LOL! No it is funny .
I freak myself out with my thoughts too, hehehehe.
ctymom replied: It happens to me too. Especially when I lived with my inlaws. They have an old house and whenever I went up the front stairs... I always felt there was someone behind me. It would scare the heck out of me.
Our oldest that was around 4 at the time came to his grandmother and told her that grandpa was in the bedroom. He wasnt home but he insisted there was someone there. At about the same time my son saw that, my husband asked if Brett came to our room b/c someone was standing there with black socks and black pants to the knees. Of course Brett was wearing red plaid pants and no socks. My husband was half asleep, but it was strange that he happened to mention that without knowing what Brett had seen.
That house always creeped me out. Well, leaving with my inlaws creeped me out! LOL

kimberley replied: all the time, especially in the bathroom. something about the shower curtain in the dark really makes me run for the hills lol.
mummy2girls replied: LOL I do at times..LOL. But it usually happens outside. In the middle of the night one night i had forgotten somthing in the car. So i would go out to the car and get it then for some odd reason get the willies and RUN to my apartment suite. And its not like the parkiong lot is dark there is lights. I just get a wierd feeling..LOL
A&A'smommy replied: YES! I know I'm weird
My2Beauties replied:
LOL Hanna's toys go off by themselves too. The other night I woke up to her rattle playing music at 3:00 in the morning all by itself all the way in the livingroom and it kept doing it. I took a pair of DF pants and covered it up!!!
paradisemommy replied: it used to REALLY freak me out but now i just always tell taven "who's visiting you now? someone wants to play with you!!"
3xsthefun replied: Yes! I'm scared of the dark
I know it sounds stupid but if I watch a scary movie and go outside when it is dark I think something is going to grab me. So usually I stay inside.
momof2girls replied: Uh reading these posts creeped me out, I had to turn on more lights! Yes I do that to myself. We build a house 2.5 years ago and when we first moved in I was all freaked out.
But in my old house when my daughter was like 2 she would talk about a "friend" she had and I would hear her playing and talking to someone like she was actually see someone. She told me it was a lil girl, I was so sure the house was haunted so I sprinkled sea salt everywhere outside my house, this I was told gets rid of any bad spirits, she still talked to this lil girl but never anything scary. It finally stopped.
She had this Barney that would go off in the middle of the night, and I had to destroy him. lol. Well actually the trash man did it. I was sure Barney was possessed.
Ok I wont sleep tonight. lol
gracies replied: Its happened to me a few times
