Have you ever met a Celebrity?

My2Beauties replied: Um......I saw Left Eye from the Group TLC in the mall one time, I didn't meet her per se but I saw her out somewhere! I've seen lots of celebrities at concerts and stuff but have never met one, oh yeah besides some soap stars at the annual Women's Show we have here in Louisville, they always have some steamy soap star, but I never know their names since I don't get to watch Soaps!
AshleyRose replied: I met Nick Carter at a club in Tampa, FL. I was slightly buzzed which gave me the courage to run right up to him and introduce myself  ... shook his hand and all... I even sat in the closed off section of VIP with him for a bit. Some old friends of mine are really good friends of his so it wasn't like I was sitting with a bunch of people I didn't know.. LOL. But it was a neat experience. He isn't cute in person either  .

There is hope. And every now and then the Walton Arts Center brings us a celebrity.
DansMom replied: I have met one small-time celebrity several times over the years---the actor who played Casey Perretti on As the World Turns back in the early nineties is the little brother of my colleague who passed away this week. He's no longer working as an actor though.
We have a vegetarian restaurant on campus, and one day I saw Spike Lee eating there. I didn't dare approach him though. He was in deep discussion with someone, and they weren't seating anyone near him. The waitress was trembling when she took our order---the staff was very stressed out

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Oh yeah, my friend's daughter was in that movie "The Rookie" (the little girl in the family) But, she is not famous by any means. She does act and she models, but she isn't well known outside of her circle of friends.  She is only 8.
And a friend of mine was on Road Rules. 
paradisemommy replied: my sister and i while vacationing here in hawaii (before i moved) met mark danza (tony danza's son)..we hung out with him for about a week, went to a luau and saw their suite..and he introduced us to his dad and wife and kids...but that's about it!!

There are alot of films shot in the park near my job in NYC. Saw them shooting the 1st "Spiderman" there, and "Sex and the City" a few times. Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman used to live in my town (Uma still does, saw her trick or treating last year), and Liv Tyler has a w/e house next door to my son's best friend. I've seen her several times (She was pretty pg and still is as far as I know) and my son has spoken with her. Apparently she's very sweet.

But that was past history. I havent met anyone famous.. My friend Alabama well, i dunno if its true but, her boyfriend/baby daddy was doing some underground rap music to become an rapper.. His rap name was Po Boi' but hes not famous so he doesnt count i dont even know if hes really a rapper my friend told me this and were not friends anymore because she has one of his cds but never seen them here in texas LOL

My DH waiting on Left Eye from TLC so that's funny  She came in Olive Garden right outside Atlanta basically at closing time and wanted a section all to herself. Jerimiah waited on her and she DIDN'T EVEN TIP HIM and he is good with people and such so I know he was a great waiter!
I met Ben Affleck at Disney World a few years ago. It was the summer before my 9th grade year. I think he was filming Pearl Harbor maybe. When did that movie come out??? LOL. I don't know but me and the little circle of friends I was with took an MGM backstage tour and got to talking w/ these two guys that work there. Ben was there getting fitted for a costume. I don't know if he was having a bad day or what but he is VERY rude.
My stepdad's friend Andy (who is supposed to be in some movie coming out sometime. He's really into acting and landed a role in a movie I think is going to be called Soda) was in The Patriot as a soldier I think. Anyway he got to be good friends with Heath Ledger. They call each other all the time. I think that's pretty weird that Heath would want to be friends with him though. I mean...you KWIM. But I'm thinking...HELLO, HOOK ME UP WITH HEATH!!!!!! [/COLOR]

I waited on Dion Sanders a few times when he was with the FSU Seminoles..he was a total jerk and now I won't buy anything he does commercials for or watch the Cowboys.
My best friend dated a room mate of the guys from Creed when they were just getting big. The lead singer is a short, pompus jerk but the drummer is a doll. I love him to death. We used to work next to each other at the mall and he'd always bring me coffee 
Tom Sellek from Magnum PI used to show up all over when I lived in Hawaii. He used to come to the pee wee football games where I was a cheerleader...he's one hairy fella LOL
I almost forgot! When I was 6 or 7 my mom was dating a guy who worked at Sea World. We got in and I met (and got kissed by...ewww whale spit!) Shamu the killer whale and I got to ride in the ski show with batman and robin.

Funny story about Fez, I totally spilled all my drinks on the table across from theirs and he JUMPS out of the booth and is helping me clean this poor lady up!! LMAO! FEZ!! Hahahahh! So I went back to the table and we were cracking jokes about me making more money with the front of my shirt all wet lol! He ended up tipping me RELALY well!!
That's all I can think of, and let me tell you, it's WEIRD to wait on famous people!!! They freak me out, it's like you try really hard to act like you don't care, but then you end up acting phony...it takes a lot of getting used to!!

I met Kim Cattrall!!! (Samantha from Sex and the City). We were both in Bloomingdales getting makeup. She autographed my Bloomingdales bag.

Of course, my friends HAD to tell him it was my birthday. Next thing I know, Scott plants one on me, then continues to make out with me for a minute or so!!!! I about died!! He's a really nice guy, but why couldn't we have run into Brad Pitt on my birthday?!?

When I was in Highschool I went to the State drama competition for musical theatre and met Estelle Getty. Man was she short. I got her autograph.
In Community College I sang back up for Barry Manilow. I mean really. He came to the Barbara B Mann hall which is on the campus of the Edison Community College. He needed a choir for some of the songs at the end of that act and the community choir was asked. That was great fun and we got to meet him afterwards. There is a pic of all of us with him at my Mom's house.
A friend of mine and I ran into Emeril in one of his resturants in New Orlenas. To get to our table we had to go through the kitchen. I was totally not expecting it, but when the waiter opened the door he was right there. I planted this big smile on my face and he actually checked us out. Then made us a special appetizer for free. That was one of the best times I have ever had. I was single and shamelessly flirted with the waiters. 
I ran into Trey Parker at MGM studios, for those who don't know he is one of the creators of South Park. We were actually sitting like right there next to him and didn't even realize it. He drew in this book at the Brown Derby and I freaked out so when I got up and looked at him I just opened my mouth and ran away. Oh man that was so bad.
I think that is it. I really can't think of any others. I live in Hawaii now so I keep hoping I will run into The Rock or something. He is always out here.

They act as Bradley in Generations and Ziggy of Backstage...they both sooo goodlooking as well!!!
