Heard From Attorney Today - - Good News -

Bad news is - They have lowered my ex husband's bail from 500K to 100K but he is still in jail.


So it looks like it should be a slam dunk still either way. It turns out the charges ARE against his 2nd (or maybe 3rd) wife's daughter. So his former Step-Daughter Alyssa. And while there aren't ANY charges about Mikee, I KNOW in my heart, Mikee has also been abused. And I am just so angry about that right now, because my baby isn't getting the justice he deserves.

Anyway - I am posting the email from the attorney like I always do. You guys have been so supportive and great! I just love you guys.

We have received your initial retainer of $1200. I sure hope that the balance will be easier to obtain. In any event, I reviewed the court file; both the civil file relating to the parenting plan/residential schedule and Mike's criminal file.
I will incorporate into the motion the latter. I would really like to see Commissioner Grovdahl's face when he reads the interviews from the criminal case and the PA complaint. The latter was filed on Oct. 27, 2005 charging 10 counts of first degree rape of a child, whose age was between 7 and 8 years old, occurring between Oct. 1, 2004 and Sept. 24, 2005. Bail was originally set at $500k but is now $100k. They have spent the last yr. determining whether Mike is competent to stand trial. I guess he is because the case has been calendared with Judge Riley but no trial date is set. Mike's lawyer passed the bar in 2002. (No comment on the kind of representation he can expect.) The victim is Jennifer's daughter. The interviews make me sick.

Here is what I will need in order to really drive this case home. I need to know when you all were married, the name and age of the child in your care, information about schools and counselors as previously discussed, and pictures of your home (limit to four), and attempts at contact with Mikee for the last year. Please email asap.

I ran into Matt Dud in the courthouse when I was there viewing this case. I asked him about what was on Grovdahl's mind when he said Tish was not fit and was doing things that were detrimentral to Mikee (I'm thinking drugs, etc even though you told me no drugs, etc). According to Dud the Commissioner felt you manufactured this case, the experts all said no abuse, and he let you have it for bringing up these false allegations. Is that your take on the past? Dud also told me to make sure I get paid. I hope this will not be a problem. I would rather focus on the case than chase you all down for money.
