Heart rate as gender prediction? - Do you believe it??
Our Lil' Family wrote: In your experiences has heart rate been an accurate prediction of gender? Just curious.
boyohboyohboy replied: all my babies had the heart rate that the wise tale says they should..I guess I do believe.
my2monkeyboys replied: I think it depends on when you take the heart rate. With both my boys it was very high at first, then became a little lower as the pregnancy went on. They both fit the saying towards the middle/end, when I already knew what they were anyway.
mummy2girls replied: for me yes. Breanna had a fast heart rate always through my pregnancy and look she was a girl... Jenna was the same and with Jordan it was always slow
A&A'smommy replied: yeap and its been right for all of my friends too and my sister in law
Mommy2Isabella replied: Until this baby yes ... lol he is always in the 140's ... isn't it 135 and higher is a girl??
Swood75 replied: Jess,I have always heard under 150 was a boy and anything over was a girl..It was accurate with me all 3 times..
A&A'smommy replied: nooooo lol 155-60 is usually a girl and anything under a boy
grapfruit replied: Hmm...then no, b/c her's is "typically" below 150, although it spikes into the 160s when she's really active. Usually is in the high 120's-130's
punkeemunkee'smom replied: It was true for both our girls
Calimama replied: Nope, not true with Bells.
coasterqueen replied: Nope, not true for my girls.
youngmomofone replied: I don't remember. I was pregnant 7 years ago this fall so I have no idea. We will see if it's true though.
KM1014 replied: Not really. I found baby's heart beat was different at different appts so it was kind of hard to decide which to use.
