Hello all, questions about growing boys... - (physical descriptions of private parts)

As you know I am the mother of two boys and have no clue about their specific physical developments when it comes to the testes dropping and that stuff .
My questions is this;

I have noticed that it looks like his bag is lopsided, not sure if that things just haven't dropped into place yet and he is supposed to look like this. Is this normal? I really don't want to have to take him to the doctor for this and DH is no help. Any and all help is welcome here. By the way he is almost 7.

moped replied: Well, there i snothing wrong with taking them to the doctor - mine sent us to a specialist because she wanted to make sure they have dropped, etc...........She showed me how to check them but it is hard to describe it to you - it is always good to have them checked - it is not stupid to take them in for that at all!!!!!

Even boobs - one is usually sightly bigger than the other

So my guess is that, having seen a few "bags" myself, I could tell you that having one slightly bigger than the other should be ok. If it's becuase it was twisted or something, it would most likely be painful....

I have two boys..and a husband. One is almost always bigger than the other.

Look at pics on the internet.. they have them.

I knew that about other body parts but never thought about it applying there. He is not in any pain so not sure what is causing it.

I was also shown that and he has told me that he felt two in there before that is why I was kinda concerned when I saw him the other day getting out of the shower.

Hernias are weakened areas in the abdominal wall where soft tissue (usually intestines) can protrude. The doctor places a finger beind the testes and requests the patient to cough which results in abdominal pressure. At that time the doctor is observing the abdomen looking for protrusions.

Booey2, if your son has such a protrusion above his penis, it could well be a hernia. If you suspect that your son should be seen by a doctor as soon as possible, as this would need to be surgically corrected.

In my experience they can be different sizes too, but what you describe sounds like something else. Looks like you've gotten some good advice
