Help - Breakout

mckayleesmom wrote: Oh my gosh,,,,Im breaking out really bad on my face....I never broke out when I was in high school....anybody have any good remedies? bawling.gif mad.gif

A&A'smommy replied: A mask always works good for me!! Depending on how sensitive you face is....i cant afford mary kay stuff but if you try it you will LOVE it. Clean and clear stuff works good for me and i dont know any home stuff....wish i did though!!! Sorry about the break outs unfortuantly im still a "teenager" and i have always had problems with my face breaking out of no where....grrrr but anyways hope it goes away soon!!!!

~CrazieMama~ replied: How about rubbing alcohol? As long as your breakout is not caused by dry skin. I use it and my face is pretty clear.

A&A'smommy replied: dont use a LOT of alcohol especially if you have a sensitive or dry face or if you face gets a little dry after using it, use morsterizer (I REALLY cannot spell tonight wink.gif ) as soon as you notice!!! Or your face will just get worse....sorry i just try SO hard to keep my face decent looking and i read a lot!

CantWait replied: I heard toothpaste works well. I use ponds facial foaming wash, works wonders for me, and I break out really bad.

mummy2girls replied: toothpaste just like cantwait said. And i also use noxema at night that helps me. I have very sensitive-allergic skin so i have to be very careful

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
Couldn't have said it better....being a MK consultant!!! rofl!!!

(btw - I had a class last night...and I made 673$)

Seriously though...if you don't want to spend the $$ (which is worth it), try some hemorrhoid cream.

Sounds gross, but it really works. biggrin.gif

A&A'smommy replied:
WOW thats so kewl!!! I have thought about trying to do classes and stuff so i could be able to afford it....but...i want to wait until after that baby is born so i know if i can handle it or not....does it cost anything to get started selling things? I should ask my SIL's they both use to sell it....but one of them talks to much and the other lives far away....

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I always had a clear complexion, too. But the past year I have been getting pimples and zits around AF time and it was really bad when I first got pg. Always in the same area. UGH!! I tried lots of face washes (Clearasil, Mary Kay, etc) I have sensitive, dry skin. I started using Purpose soap by Johnson and Johnson and it helped miraculously. I use a heavy moisturizer after I wash my face at night to get some of the moisture back in. I was advised not to wash my face more than once a day b/c you lose so much of your natural oils. It worked! The soap also dried the zits up really fast. They were gone within a day. It is a bar of soap and very inexpensive ($3). It comes in a blue box and you can get it anywhere.

HTH!

mckayleesmom replied: cool,,,I will try some of those tips,,,I have 1 big zit and 4 little tiny ones....I can't stand it...I usually only get 1 every once in a while...but af is in town right now....so thats probably why. I blame her. mad.gif

kit_kats_mom replied: I had really bad skin. I have been using clinique soap for oily skin and clinique moisturizer. I keep a bar in the shower and one by the sink and I wash my face 2 times per day. My skin has cleared up really well.

mckayleesmom replied: I use clinique makeup and I love the weather everything moisterizer they have too.

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
I paid 150$ (plus tax) for my starter set - it comes equipped for you to be able to do 30 faces. AND - you get to use that 150$ as a write off (business expense)

I started doing it last January - and since then, I've made approximately 12,000$.

It helps! biggrin.gif

I am still doing it now...because when I DO have the baby, I'm probably not going to want to do anything else.... so it'll be smooth sailing... 2 - 4 hours of work a week, and get like 300-700$ average....

Personally, when I started, I stocked up on inventory...but that's not something you HAVE to do. It's just easier on me than having to order stuff all the time.... I just put one big order every few months, and if I'm missing something, I trade with another consultant instead of having to pay shipping for only a few items...
