Help-I'm at my boiling point

5littleladies wrote: My kids are all whining and crying and not obeying today. I just lashed out at my middle dd because she wouldn't get dressed when I told her to, my oldest is whining in her room because she has to clean it because she had a friend over yesterday and they made a mess and Brianna is just being a pill in general and I'm trying to potty train her which is not going well. I'm on the verge of tears-I just can't handle it today. sad.gif bawling.gif sad.gif

Mommy2BAK replied: Aww, I am sorry. I know that days like that just suck! I hope you feel better soon, and those girls start behaving for you this afternoon.

mckayleesmom replied: Go in the room...scream and carry one...Thats what I do.

My2Beauties replied: Oh I am so sorry! Just sit down for a moment and take some deep breaths! I hope your day gets better!

~Roo'sMama~ replied: grouphug.gif I'm sorry you're having a bad day already and the kids are being hard on you! I hope it gets better soon. grouphug.gif

coasterqueen replied: grouphug.gif I can only imagine, I only have two and they send me to the boiling point WAY TOO much these days. sad.gif

Is there someone who can watch them even for a bit today? Just to let you get a nap or a walk? Can your Dh take a sick day or something to give you some relief today? When I reach far beyond my point, my DH will come home at lunch and just even give me 30 minutes which sometimes help.

grouphug.gif I wish I lived closer or had some better suggestions for you. sad.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I'm so sorry!! sad.gif I wish I lived closer...I'd take them all and have one big playdate and let you get some rest. Don't you know our girls would love to play together?? biggrin.gif

I hope your day gets better. Just send them all to their rooms to play for awhile so you can take a breather.

I've had days like this. It is going to be a long summer!! rolleyes.gif

DansMom replied: Oh, I can't imagine more than one whining---I'd end up hiding in a closet!! I growled at Daniel Saturday (after 3 hours of non-stop whining and complaining) and I'm still feeling horrible about it. But then I thought, well, as long as I'm usually "together" as a parent, and that's the norm, the fact that I lose it on rare occasions means that I'm a human being with limitations laugh.gif Perhaps he will learn that there is a limit to how many times you can push my buttons before I snap---I certainly learned the limits with my own mom. Sorry you're having such a rough day of it grouphug.gif

5littleladies replied: Thanks guys. I'm trying to just let them do their own thing for a couple of minutes so I can get my bearings. Usually when we have days like these I'm prepared, but I didn't sleep well last night and that just started my day wrong. I'd love to ask Dh to come home and he probably would but I'd hate to have him come home just because I'm not having the best day. unsure.gif

Yes they would! Too bad there's a couple of states between your home and mine. tongue.gif

amymom replied: Oh I am sorry! grouphug.gif I am sending positive thoughts your way for kids that help this afternoon.

~KARA~ replied: I know how you feel! I have those days at least once a week! My oldest dd (7) knows what buttons to push to send my youngest dd and I both over the edge. Make them all take a nap and then maybe you can take one too!

kit_kats_mom replied: Boooo. Sorry you are having a rough one. I have given days like that their very own name..."video day". K can watch videos until I get over my funk. LOL

5littleladies replied:
ROFL!! rolling_smile.gif Thanks for the laugh Cary! That isn't a bad idea. happy.gif

Insanemomof3 replied: AWWWW hugs! I know those days are terrible. Tristan and Demetri get me that way EVERY day lol. Just try to stay patient. Things will be better in the morning. (I hope) biggrin.gif

Josie83 replied: I'm sorry Jen! It must be hard for you, especially seeing as though you're pregnant :goruphug: Any chance you could all go out in the garden and blow off some steam? I hope it gets better for you!! xx

A&A'smommy replied: awwwwie I'm sorry I hope they have gotten better by now (((((HUGS))))
