I was thinking just last night after passing many tall people in the airport and such (most of them taller). Am I really that short? Everyone in Dh's family is always telling me I'm short. All the women in his family are at lest 5'9 and the men taller DH is 6'2. I'm maybe 5'2 and my mom is 5'6 and my sister is 5'7 my dad and brothers are 6'1 or so. Am I really all that short?

It most certainly is!!! I'm 5'2 1/2 also. I posted some time ago that I had been measured for the first time since before I had Kristen....apparently I had a bad measure that time because I've been going along in life thinking I was 5'4....it's even on my license. People probably used to look at me when I'd say that and think "yeah right.....and I'm 10feet tall!".....

Oh well.......

coasterqueen replied: I'm 5'5". Dh is 5'11" and we measured Kylie a few weeks ago at 38 inches. I'm hoping she is going to be tall too. Although I was VERY VERY tall for my age as a young in' but then my growth just stopped. Now I'm shorter than my mom and sister. Hope that doesn't happen to her.

A little trivia for you...If you measure yourself in the morning you will be taller then you are in the evening. Your spine compacts as you walk around all day, and stretches out while you sleep.

Nope, you're definitely not the only one. The good thing for me is that Chris' mom and sister are a lot shorter than me even and his mom always says I'm tall.
