Here ya'll are - pics of Logan's bed and my tattoo

Logan's Captain bed, it's tall, but he's done well in beds in Indiana, no falling out and we'll have a rail in place here at home.


My new ink. Titled "Strength of Heart". The guy who did it is writing a book on why people get tattoos, cause it's not just some toughie biker thing anymore. When I told him, he asked if I'd write down why I got the tattoo so he may use it in the book.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: It stung. Near the end, I guess I got used to it, but the first 30 minutes, I felt every line. They felt like a hot little slice through my skin. I don't remember that about my first one, but that was 13 years ago and over a much more padded area. (It's on my lower stomach, near my hip)

I knew I wanted a Celtic knot, but beyond that I hadn't given it too much thought. My mom steered me towards an artist in California who specializes in Celtic design. I checked out her website and just kind of scrolled through. Then a few months later, I was thinking that I wanted it to symbolize something, not just be pretty. So, I went to the site again and typed in "strength" for a search. That was the first thing that came up. I bookmarked it and have been checking it now and then for some months now. Finally decided it was time. So, I bought the pattern (didn't want to infringe on copyright) took it to a local artist and said, "I want to do this."
