I just realized I haven't been on in over a month or so. I have been so busy! Hmmm, lets see what I can tell you that's new...

We got a new car a little over a month ago. We got a 2005 Mazda MPV (black). I LOVE it! Its like a mini van for people who really dont want to buy a mini van. Its not HUGE like most of them and its pretty sporty. I love all the room I have now!

Our daycare subsidy through the state got cut off VERY suddenly. So Teagan had to leave the daycare that she was at and we got stuck with no daycare. NOT FUN! So after looking and looking for daycare that didn't cost an arm and a leg we finally found a daycare thats on my way to work that will take both kids 2 full days a week for $610 a month. We have the other days covered by relatives. Thank God because I dont know who could afford over $2,000 a month for full time!

Shawn fell off the wagon one night after we got into an arguement. Went straight to a bar and had 2 drinks. Had two drinks, felt like crap for doing it with 6 months sober under his belt and left. I was pretty pissed but he got up, dusted himself off and jumped back on. I guess its going to happen.

Matthew is getting really big, really fast. I think he is about 14-15 lbs now. Teagan is two and weighs 23-34 lbs. He is almost as big as her! Its pretty funny. He is blowing through clothes so fast. He is so different then his sister. She was such a small baby.

Teagan's birthday party was about a month ago and it was ok. Alot of people called the day of and said they couldnt come. But she had a good time and we bought her alot of stuff. Shawn and I bought her a Dora Kitchen for her room which she loves. She also got her first dollhouse.

Well, thats all I can think of thats new at the moment. I have ALOT of new pictures to put up which I will do in another post.

Make sure Shawn knows falling off the wagon (and getting back on) is his way of passing a "test" of sorts and that you are proud of him for getting back on his path.... guys like that goofy stuff.

sorry the daycare situation got nutty but glad you figured it out. i can't believe how big the kids are getting.
living with a parent with addictions, a slip off the wagon is bound to happen but focus on the positive that he got right back on.
