Hi - Just a small update on me

The past couple of weeks has been very rough since lost our home because of a fire and the kids being sick. Then today I seen a doctor about my depression. She put me on some pills called Paxil and also I will be going to counseling.

We should have us a computer sometime this week and I will check in after we get it hooked up. I really miss everyone here! I hope everyone is doing ok!

I will give more of a update once we have our own computer again and I have a bit more time.

I hope things are getting more settled for you. Do you know when you will get a new place yet?

TeagansMom609 replied: Paxil......Grrrr.... Don't even get me started on Paxil. I used to have a REALLY bad anxiety problem when I was a young teen and they put me on Paxil. It took a while to work but it kind of did the job after awhile. BUT, I gained ALOT of weight from it. ( I was told it was one of Paxil's big side effects after the fact) I gained 20 lbs within 2 months or so and got stretch marks on my inner theighs and butt. I was so sad at the time because I was 15-16 yrs old gaining rapid weight and the only girl out of every one I knew that had stretch marks. I just got more depressed and it was hard to lose the weight.

Sorry, I know things are rough enough right now and you don't need to hear any negative's but I just thought I would warn you. I wish someone told me before I took it. I would have maybe tried Zoloft or something similar. Who knows though, everyones body is different.

3xsthefun replied: The computer we had back in our bedroom is acutally working so I'm able get on with it.

The kids are feeling better they are with their grandparents right now. We wanted them to go there until I could go and see a doctor. I'm still not feeling that great but a little better. My depression has been going on long before the fire though I believe it made it worse though. I really don't feel like talking much about it right now.

As far as me being on Paxil that is just for a little while. I was referred to another doctor to see if it is right for me. I'm not really sure when I will be seeing this other doctor yet. I haven't received any phone calls about a appointment. If I don't here something by end of the week then I will call my doctors office.

I'm sure glad to be back here though so I can talk to you all.
