Hi guys! Update on us
kit_kats_mom wrote: I wanted to get on here, say HI and give an update on those who do not use facebook. First off, you Northerners need to take this cold weather back. It's FL and it's not supposed to be 20 degrees here...ever. Grrrrrrr
I am more or less adjusted to working full time outside of the house and I'm still doing my WAH job so work is keeping me super busy.
While I'm not working, I'm hanging with the girls, doing scouting stuff with Katherine (she sold 187 boxes of Girls Scout cookies!) and spending time with family.
My mom is still doing well with her health, I am having some testing done for health issues though. No AF for 3 mos. I'm not preggo (I know because I disclocated my radius from my elbow a couple of weeks ago and they made me take a test before the xray) but with my moms illness, I'm rather anxious about the problem. I should know something in two weeks since they took 7 vials of blood for testing and I had a full belly US.
The girls are great. We pulled Katherine from the charter school after Christmas break. She's LOVING her new school and thriving. She has 3 loose teeth now (still hasn't lost one yet) and she's quite the little fashion plate. She's the one preening in front of the mirror every morning. She also has a boy who "loves" her. She's just really blossoming into a great kid.
Lauren is finally sleeping in her own bed (ok, only 4-5 nights a week but it's a start). She's writing and sounding out words and doing great in preschool. She's super smart and my cuddle bug.
The dog has been a great addition to the family. Wiggles the rat died a month ago and the cat is still fine.
I do check in but I don't typically have time to post. I'm seriously working 8:00-6 M-F at work and after dinner, working from 6-11ish every night so my internet time is spent on facebook. :-) I miss you guys!
kit_kats_mom replied: Both girls sporting their new short hair do's

I'm so glad you stopped in. I was just thinking about you and Amy. We sure do miss you around here. I'll be thinking and praying for good news on your test results. I can understand you being a little anxious, and I am glad you are getting things checked out, but I have faith you will be fine. Please keep us posted.
coasterqueen replied: So glad to hear from you, Cary!!!! The girls are just beautiful Try not to be too busy, but I'm sure you are enjoying life with the family as well.
on tests. I'm battling my own as well, so I know how frustrating this can all be. Take care!
CantWait replied: I hope everything is ok with you and it's just stress that's causing your health to be out of whack.
I LOVE the girls new short dews.

A&A'smommy replied: dang girl you are busy!!! The girls are gorgeous, I saw the pictures on fb and was amazed at how much they have grown!!
gr33n3y3z replied: Wow the girls have grown so since the last time we met And I love their hair styles
jcc64 replied: CARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I miss you so much! You're on my mind often, I had no idea you went back to work full-time. I also had no idea that K was attending a charter school. So where is she now? Both of the girls are absolutely beautiful and so freakin' big now, especially Lauren. I can't believe so much time has passed. I'm glad your mom's situation has stabilized. I can understand your paranoia about your own health--after my dad's diagnosis every little pang I felt HAD to be cancer in my mind, and every time I go for a mammo I'm a basket case until I get the results. It's just all a little too close to home watching your parent go through that, but also try to remember that obsessive, irrational worrying is a by-product of anxiety disorder. It's just as easy to have a positive thought as a negative one--and much healthier for your body in the long run. Try not to let your mind stray to the dark places, I'm certain whatever ales you is not nearly as bad as whatever is rolling around in your mind. Please KUP, I know you're super busy, but I at least want to know you're all ok. What's your blog site, again?
