Hiccups
Danalana wrote: My husband has had them for 2 days now Does anybody know how to get rid of them, besides making him stay outside?
MoonMama replied: Ok first of all I think I'd loose it.
I don't know the only thing that works for me is downing a big glass of water.
Hope they go away soon.
A&A'smommy replied: the only thing that works for me is Holding my breath through a hickup breathing breathing in and repeating about 2 or 3x if that doesn't work then I just have to wait them out, if he still has them tomorrow you might want to do some research about them!!
BabyOwen427 replied: I always count between hiccups I get so focused on counting I 'forget' to hiccup.
But you have to start over at 1 with each hiccup like this...
Hiccup 1,2,3,4,5 Hiccup 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 Hiccup 1,2,3,4 Hiccup
Only I usually get up to around 20 before I hiccup again I just didn't feel like typing all those #s Hope this helps, if not it's amusing to watch
Danalana replied: i'm afraid I'm gonna need you to type all the numbers
yeah, I don't get it. I get hiccups very rarely. when I do, it's only once or twice and then I'm done. This has happened to him once before and they lasted for about 2 days...maybe they will disappear tonight! *prays*
amymom replied: spoonful of sugar always worked for me when I was a kid.
Nina J replied: Scare him?? I don't know really, I hope he's not going to be one of those people who has the hiccups for 70 years
hawkshoe replied: That is what works for me too. You have to drink the entire glass of water in one big gulp, no stopping until it is done.
CantWait replied: Massage his between his eyes, or I saw on a show (don't know if it works, and I wouldn't want to go there.......oh gosh I can't even say it )
msoulz replied: A nice spoonful of peanut butter works in our family. Put the whole spoonful in the mouth and slowly eat it. Good luck!
MotherForever2043 replied: I usually drink a HUGE glass of water really fast. I hope they go away soon.
HuskerMom replied: Scare him!
