Horrific new fashion trend! - toenails

It must have been over an inch above the end of her toe.  How can you walk around with this? You're restricted to wearing sandals obviously... I freak out if my toenails get too long, not to mention they always split down to the quick if I stub my toe or something.

jcc64 replied: Well, I'm slightly embarassed to admit this, but my dh's toenails are DISGUSTINGLY long. I have no idea why he doesn't clip them regularly- when I ride him about it, he never really gives me a meaningful answer- could he be that lazy??
Anyway, long toenails as a fashion statement??? Not in my world, though maybe if I started decorating his nails, maybe they'd be less offensive?
whitting713 replied: Our Wal-mart has press-on decorative toe nails right next to the fake fingernails. I just couldn't imagine. I don't like my feet enough for regular sandals as it is.

ITA I'm the same way...feet are just gross to me.. i try to keep my decent looking but I'm not going to grow out my toenails YUCK!!!

Jamison'smama replied: Last time I got a pedicure the young girl next to me.....late teens, early 20's was getting acrylic big toenails...I didn't see how long they were but her regular toenails were normal length so I can only assume she wanted them longer.....ick!

Kaitlin'smom replied: YUCK, I keep mine pretty short. I saw a girl in a salon once who has all her toe nails on the longer side with the painted, I just coudl not imigine to me it was gross, I am deffinalty NOT a foot person, well unless its baby feet

Ok I just got to point out, OMGOSH all I can think about is that toe commercial with the fungus. Can you imagine all the bacteria growing UNDER THERE.
