How AWESOME!!!
Maddie&EthansMom wrote: When Scotty and I went on our date last week we went to a 5 star restaurant. It was such a treat. Really yummy food, the best service. It was a great experience. I had their special Aperitif to drink. It should have been a dessert cocktail. It was so sweet and yet very good. It was light and fruity and it had a rose petal in the bottom of the glass.
Anyway, since then I've been curious what liquor they used. Scotty just came home and handed me a hand written letter that we received in the mail today from the restaurant. It reads:
Dear Mr and Mrs ________, Thank you for joining us on your evening away from the kids. If you wish to find the liquor that you enjoyed in your Aperitif it is called "St. Germaine Elder Flower." It was a pleasure serving you. Sincerely, Shad (our waiter)
Cool, huh?????
Now I have to go buy some of that liquor. I hope it's not too expensive.
luvmykids replied: Now THAT is customer service! Did Scotty call and ask them for you?
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I guess the waiter just takes notes and he knew how much I liked that drink. I'm glad he told me what it was, but I don't think I will be able to find it anywhere.
Bamamom replied: That's pretty good service!
luvmykids replied: I remember the first time I had an Aperitif....I had no idea what it was or what to do with it...we all drank it like a shot
I'm happy to say I've learned a lot about fine dining since then
HuskerMom replied: Wow what a nice waiter!
redchief replied: What an awesome server! The only question that comes to my muddled mind is, who would name their son after a fish?
Calimama replied: That's soo cool!!
sparkys2boys replied: Wow, that is impressive!
5littleladies replied: That is very cool!
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: that's cool....and you can buy it online $32 a bottle so that isn't bad
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Did you see it online somewhere Lisa? I couldn't find it.
