How Logan counts...

It's so great that Wil and Logan are so close in age because I like to see that they are almost doing the exact same things at the same time! Wil is now copying us when we count too. I think he stopped at around six as well! The S's are hard for him to pronounce. Do you find that sometimes Logan gets lazy when he's using his words, especially counting and just sorta grunts instead? Wil does! Drives me nuts, but it's sorta cute...it's this "uh...uh...uh...buh..duh" as he's pointing one by one at something. I always wonder if that's what he hears when I'm counting!! He reads books now too, but of course it's just jibberish. I'll catch him and he's just blabbing away to himself "gouidrnddosaijvnkbnoieurnvoie". It's like a totally different language! Sometimes I hear "ball" in there or "dog"...but the rest is just jibberish!

Logan has had his own language for quite some time now. We call it Loganese. He is learning new words, but now and again he'll just lapse into his own words. They have inflection and I'm sure they mean something to him, but they are not even near real words. He also does a lot of the grunting pointing thing. I try to get him to say the words, but I don't force the issue. I think he's doing pretty well.

Nope, not hungry. He did it again twice last night. I suspect it's a combination of six and seven. LOL. And I love the booteen, booteen. That's great.
