How are you at making decisions?
coasterqueen wrote: I swear, I am the silliest person when it comes to making decisions. I stress out about the littlest decisions ever. I mentioned in another post about the insurance company paying for a new car seat. So they'll pay the highest price for whatever one I want or to get the same exact one we had before, but nooooooooo I have to sit here and waver in my mind between two car seats and can't make a decision. Ryan thinks I'm hilarious because there really is no tough decision in this. They are both equal, both safe, prices are way different, but that's not an issue. But for the life of me I can't decide which one she'd think is more comfortable. I even took her to try them out last night, she couldn't tell me which one was more comfortable because she was more concerned about the color.
Why do I let little decisions stress me out to the point it's hilarious?
Crystalina replied: DH HATES when I try to make a decision. I have to compare, judge, ponder, weigh...it never ends. That's why he's so happy we're going to Aldi's to shop lately. There is no selection really. If you want mayo then there's one to choose from. Even when we go to McDonald's I have to look at the menu. He says, "The dang menu hasn't changed in 50 yrs!!! You should know what you want by now." Evan has inherited my lack of decision making abilities.
cameragirl21 replied: because you're a Virgo...?
coasterqueen replied: Which I guess is why my darling Kylie has the same problems as I do. I mean, to decide what she's gonna eat for breakfast in the morning is a CHORE.
MommyToAshley replied: I am pretty good at the little things. I am too quick I suppose and I should shop around more for the best deal. But, to me, mayo is mayo... and I don't spend time reading labels like I should. However, I am not good at making major decisions -- I was a nervous wreck trying to decide where to send Ashley to school.
youngmomofone replied: Im pretty darn good at it as dh leaves me making 99.9999999999% of the decisions. It's up to ME what HE wants to eat.
Jamison'smama replied: count me in too!
Karen, if they are both equally safe, just let her choose--even if it is by color.
TheOaf66 replied: I don't make em, Jennie does.
Boys r us replied: Ohh not me, I'm a very spontaneous shopper and decision maker. Sometimes that's good..sometimes it's bad!
coasterqueen replied: Well the color thing would work if they were the color SHE wanted, lol. She wants purple and both are a shade of pink. Seriously, I think she can be more difficult than me.
Glad to know I'm not the only one who makes the easiest decisions tough ones.
luvbug00 replied: I will stand and fight a desision till the bitter end. i have to be persuaded most of the time. food though, is easy lol!
~Roo'sMama~ replied: I am HORRIBLE at making decisions. And I'm not a Virgo. Not that I think that has anything to do with it anyways. But I can never make up my mind about anything. I've been trying for 6 months to decide whether I should go get a job.
TrulyBlessed replied: I am terrible at making decisions. I am going to a seminar at college next month to learn about making decisions. LOL
luvmykids replied: I'm terrible about it too, I've been known to spend HOURS researching something like a car seat, decide, get to the store and start debating all over again I analyze everything though, not just my decisions....people, what they say and if there is hidden meaning to it, etc.
DH calls it my "If/then issue", because I'm always saying "If we do X, then Y. But if we do A, then B, which could end up with C. Then, if we do D....."
cameragirl21 replied: haha, Monica, you're another virgo, aren't you? this is called the "virgo syndrome" and all of you late august/september babies seem to have it....
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Ha ha I do that too! Dh gets frustrated with me a lot because I go back and forth a zillion times trying to think out all the possible scenarios.
